2 COMPANY OVERVIEW INTRODUCTION Challenger Valves is a leading manufacturer, supplier and distributor of valving and actuation, providing products and solutions to the water, power, mining, irrigation and general industries. We stock a wide range of products in various materials including ductile iron, stainless steel, brass and upvc to handle a wide range of industrial applications. Challenger Valves are now the authorised representatives for Cla-Val Control Valves and for HKC Automation products including a world-leading range of pressure reducing, pressure sustaining and relief, altitude and tank filling valves, and pneumatic and electric actuation products. The companies head office is located in Shepparton, north of Melbourne in central Victoria, with a 2400m² purpose built facility, which includes production, storage and testing. The commitment by the directors to re-invest profits back into the company demonstrates Challenger s commitment to it s customers, employees and long term investment in the Australian market. Challenger Valves operate a sales network nationally with warehouse facilities in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and Western Australia. HISTORY Established in 1984 Challenger Valves and Actuators has been providing high quality product lines of performance and reliability for more than 30 years, backed by a professional team delivering superior service and cost effective solutions to our clients. QUALITY Challenger Valves provides in house testing and distributes a range of products that meet or exceed the highest Australian and International Standards, many of which carry the coveted Australian Standard Mark. PROJECT SUPPLY Challenger Valves have supplied many major infrastructure projects, providing on-time deliveries for projects with critical completion dates. Challenger Valves operate a dedicated project management team to ensure seamless delivery of projects, including ongoing support, consistent supply of stock & spare parts and in addition provide a specialist maintenance & service vehicle. ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY Challenger Valves provides a complete range of in house actuator packages including: pneumatic, electric, and hydraulic devices all of which are functionally tested. A range of accessories, controls and devices form part of our control packages. IN-HOUSE TESTING FACILTIES Challenger Valves is committed to supplying the highest quality products to customers and operate a in-house testing facility which assists with quality assurance, ensuring the highest standard of performance from all products. WAREHOUSE LOGISTICS AND DISTRIBUTION At Challenger Valves we are well equipped to manage all our customers requirements, the Shepparton site alone is a 2400m² purpose built facility, which includes project and training offices, testing and storage space, further demonstrating Challenger Valves commitment to its customers and ongoing investment. In addition, a well stocked warehouse has been opened in Perth to service the West Australian market. Our team have a wealth of experience and order picking is precise, same day dispatch for stocked items (if ordered by midday) is available and our online tracking facility ensures piece of mind. The Managing Director is held exclusively responsible for the daily management.
