1 Head of Supply Chain Location: [Central/South America] [Haiti] Category: Administration/Corporate Services Job Type: Open-ended, Full-time TITLE OF THE POSITION: HEAD OF SUPPLY CHAIN JOB DESCRIPTION/ PUBLICATION TEXT PURPOSE OF POSITION Provide overall leadership, oversight and management support for all aspects of administrative, facility maintenance, asset management, procurement, logistics, warehousing, fleet and IT management in the World Vision Haiti Office. This position is seen as a strategic partner responsible for ensuring accountability, stewardship, coordinating planning processes, strengthening team capacity, developing and implementing strong internal controls and risk management as well as the utilization and safeguarding of assets according to WV approved policies and procedures. 2 Provide strong and positive leadership to the Supply Chain department ensuring competent and motivated staff are hired and retained, providing efficient delivery of services. Coordinate professional and personal development of Supply Chain staff through adequate orientation, on-the-job coaching, identification of learning, training needs and opportunities. Model Christ-centered servant leadership and support spiritual development of his/her team. Ensure partnership Supply Chain policies and procedures are understood by all stakeholders Develop strong networks internally (other NOs and partnership entities) and externally (other NGOs, Providers, communities, etc.) through effective communication, relationships and twin citizenship. Promote shared resource networks within the region Adhere to WVI key policy documents mission, core values, and covenant of partnership. Providing cost analysis, promoting benchmarks and making recommendations for determining effective resource utilization at all levels. Contributing to the development of appropriate policies and procedures for procurement of goods and services, in collaboration with the Supply Chain team. Prepare the budget for the Supply Chain and control the budget to ensure expenses are within the required amount Page 2/7

3 Design and manage systems, policies and procedures that provide appropriate levels of security and control of WV assets, resources and operations. Define and implement efficient and effective internal control systems. Follow up on implementation of audit findings. Coordinate and ensure an optimal interface between the supply chain and business units for efficient customer service delivery. Supply Chain staff is robust and resilient, working together well, resulting in Supply Chain management that adds value to the ministry and well-being of children Effective performance management per WVI guidelines and standards Improved retention rate of top performers and key contributors Low turnover rate for key Supply Chain staff Documentation and sharing of best practices among Supply Chain staff, within and across regions Non-Supply Chain staff understand their role and responsibilities Supply Chain team viewed as valued business partners, both internally and externally Good image of the office in country and in the partnership Page 3/7

No overspending at the end of the fiscal year Minimum acceptable audit risk ratings and timely implementation on internal and external audit recommendations Procurement policies and procedures in place Program procurements carried out as per agreed timeline Supply sources are readily available for effective procurement processes 10% Ensure improved office/programs connectivity Facilitate and ensure preparation of and adherence to computer usage policies Internet and other connectivity are fast and stable at every location Computer usage policy prepared, approved and operational. 15% Ensure office disaster preparedness and policies updated to include new

5 technologies, trends and threats. Ensure that WV assets are secured, safe and well maintained; oversee logistics coordination Ensure that WV provides quality hospitality services to staff and visitors Transportation/Logistics. Responsible for vehicle procurement, management and maintenance. Responsible to ensure warehousing is performed at partnership standards, inventory is performed regularly and goods are distributed on a timely basis. Security guidelines and procedures are in place for the assets # of incident reports Building facilities are well-managed Travel and accommodation information are readily accessible by all staff and visitors Air-ticketing, passport and visa services are well managed Warehouse reports are reconciled and submitted on a timely and accurate basis. GIK is minimized, due to effective distribution schedules. 15% Build capacity of Team Leaders and other direct reports, through coaching for performance, supervision and support that develop their capacities and skills, enhance their performance and

6 spiritual formation. Lead the process of training and capacity building initiatives in the area of supply chain management to ensure that WV partnership and WVH standards are met. Support P&C / OD in the development of Capacity Building Proposals. Training and capacity building provided to Supply Chain Management team. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration, or a related field Minimum 5 years of experience in Management position with medium business/medium NGO/government agency Solid knowledge of Supply Chain principles and Process improvement/management. Ability to solve complex problems and to exercise independent judgment. Must be able to lead and manage a team. Good working knowledge of computerized systems. Must be computer literate in Microsoft Office programs. Intermediate in written and spoken English Good oral/written and interpersonal skills. Able to work on a cross-cultural environment with a multi-national staff. Ability to travel within country, regional and internationally
