The details of tenders are as under: 1. Name of Work : Repair of existing Solar Water Heater (1000 LPD & 1500 LPD) at SBILD, Lucknow scope of work is repairing of existing watertube lines, water tank, insulation of pipe line, cleaning of water collector tubes solar plate, heating element etc. 2. Time allowed for completion : 30 days 3. Earnest Money deposit : 2300/- (in favour SBI INFRA MANAGEMENT SOLUTIONS PVT LTD payable at Lucknow in form of Demand Draft issued by any Nationalized Bank) 4. Defects Liability Period : 12 months 11. Security deposit : 5% of final bill amount. 12. Validity of offer : 3 months from the date of opening of price bid of tender. 13. 3 MODE OF INVITING TENDER (UNDER TWO BID SYSTEM) 12 Cover-1 (Technical bid) - Sealed quotations super scribed with the name of the work Repairing of solar water heater 1000 LPD & 1500 LPD at SBILD, Lucknow ( TECHNICAL BID), Shall be submitted in hard copy to Vice President (SBIIMS), 6th Floor, A wing, Local Head Office, Moti Mahal Marg, Lucknow. i. Duly stamped and signed each pages of NIT ii. EMD of Rs. 2, ( Rupees two thousands three hundred only) iii. GST Number registration details iv. Work experience in repairing of solar water heater system. Cover-2 (Price bid) shall contain only price bid (ANNEXURE-I) only. Price bid of only those firms will be opened, who have submitted technical bid with required documents and fee. Delays in submission of any part arising out of the postal irregularities/or any other at any stage will not be considered. Also the Bank will not be responsible for damage in transit in case of Postal Delivery. In case the date of opening of tenders is declared as a holiday, the tenders will be opened on the next working day at the same time. 4 General terms & conditions a) The rates quoted for include all duties, taxes levies, transport, transit insurance, loading-unloading, etc if any excluding GST. b) Lowest bidder (L1) will be decided on the basis of total amount quoted in price bid excluding GST. c) Scope of works includes repairing of existing water tube lines with insulation, water tank, insulation of water cleaning of collector water tubes, etc. The product to be supplied strictly as per our requirement specified in price bid. d) Warranty Period : one year from the date of commissioning. e) Payment Terms : No advance is payable. On receipt of material and complete installation. Bill will be paid. f) Bidders must have the experience in repairing of solar water heaters, hence copies of work order needs to be submitted in Cover-I(Technical bid). g) vendor must have valid GST registration number and copy of that must be enclosed with the technical bid. Tenders without GST number are liable for rejection and price bid of such bidders will not be opened. h) Rates shall be quoted in both figures and words. Quotation shall be submitted in prescribed schedule as per our technical specifications mentioned in price bid. i) Each page of the tender shall be signed by the authorized person and cutting or overwriting shall be duly attested by him. k) EMD of unsuccessful bidders will be returned after issuance of work order to lowest bidder/successful bidder. 5 TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS FOR SOLAR WATER HEATERS 1. Minimum Technical Requirements laid down by MNRE for ensuring quality aspects of Solar Water Heating Systems being installed in Field The FPC based systems will be from BIS approved manufacturers and FPC/ Heat pipe based systems from MNRE approved manufacturers/ suppliers. 2. Storage Tanks, Piping, Support structure etc ( To be all indigenous & not imported) 3. Inner tank material SS 304 or 316 grade min/ MS or any other material with anticorrosive coating for hard water with chlorine contents. Inner tank thickness For SS minimum thickness will be 0.5 mm when using argon arc or metal inert gas for welding & 0.8 mm when using other type of welding. For MS it will be 1.5 mm. No leakage under any kind of Negative or positive pressure of water will be ensured. Inner tank welding TIG / Seam/ pressurized weld (Open arc weld not permitted) Storage tank capacity Not less than system capacity. 4. Thermal insulation of storage tanks 100mm thick Rockwool of 48 kg per cu. M Thermal insulation of hot water pipes Minimum 50 mm thick rockwool on GI pipes. 5. Outer cladding Alluminum sheet of 24 SWG for tanks and 26 SWG for pipelines 6. Valves, Of ISI mark or standard make Support structure for Collectors, piping, tanks etc Page 5 of 7
