14 The Implementation Of The ISPS Code In Alexandria and ElDekhiela ports * In May 2004 an assessment for Alexandria port was done. In June 2005 the port security plan was ready to apply. All the buildings in the port are guarded by security port authority personnel. All restricted areas such as electric power supplies, banks, communication centers and port facilities etc are guarded and patrolled by armed police security forces.
