14 Status Revision of Audit Concept The ISAGO Oversight Council (GOC) has reviewed the current approach and considered alternatives that could be implemented to make the program more effective and efficient PROPOSAL 1: Continuation of the Pool concept management PROPOSAL 2: Managed as a certification program for providers, with audits being conducted on a commercial basis using independent audit organizations PROPOSAL 3: Managed and performed by IATA on a commercial basis
15 Status Revision of Audit Concept GOC recommendation: Continue in implementation of ISAGO Strategy Introduce a plan to support utilization of ISAGO checklists for monitoring/auditing the external service providers Ensure such a plan shall be applicable to all IATA members and shall be implemented in parallel with the IGOM s worldwide acceptance

ASE GOM Ph 03 IGOM Action Item A signalman must be available when positioning equipment Standard versus Operational Occurrences guide person is used when the vision of the GSE operator is or might be restricted use the approved standard aircraft marshalling hand signals Guide Hand Signals to be used by a specific guide man in direct liaison with the equipment operator to facilitate movement Phase 05 Phase 05 outcome, update in IGOM When positioning equipment use a guide person. Make sure the guide person is in a position to accurately judge clearances and communicate signals to the driver/operator. Stop immediately if visual contact with the guide person is lost

O.O 5.2 all GSE shall be positioned outside the aircraft clearance line steps position shall be at a min. height of 20 cm, max. height of 30 cm & horizontally 10 cm from the door threshold IGOM Make sure all GSE is positioned outside the Equipment Restraint Area (ERA) Keep sufficient clearance between the passenger stairs & the underside of the cabin door.
