Fischer-Brodbeck GmbH (FIBRO) was founded in Weinsberg in 1958 and since 1974 has been part of the Läpple Group. The plant in Haßmersheim has been manufacturing modules for use in automation since Läpple, which was founded in 1919 in Weinsberg as well, today employs individuals, of which 900 work in the FIBRO Group alone. They are active worldwide in the fields of standard parts, rotary tables and automation. Our success is based on the enthusiasm, creativity and devotion of our employees. The Business Unit Standard Parts operates out of the FIBRO plants in Hassmersheim and Weinsberg. These plants manufacture, warehouse and ship an extensive line of standard parts around the world - even just in time. The product line for the tool & die making, mould making and machinery building industries includes steel die sets, guide elements, oilless guide elements, precision parts such as cutting punches and bushes, compression springs, gas springs offering maximum safety, chemical tooling aids, metal glue and cast resins, peripheral equipment for presses and tool manufacture, tool slides with cam, roller or hydraulic drive. The consistently high quality of our standard parts can be attributed to ongoing quality inspections starting with the raw material and ending with the finished product. For wearing parts in particular, e.g. punches, this allows us to achieve longer service lives from which our customers benefit in the form of considerable cost savings. Starting with a pneumatic rotary table in 1960, this product line has developed into a programme that today includes more than 150 different models. Rotary indexing tables from FIBRO are used as swivel axis or axis for positioning as well as workpiece carrier in machine tools as well as in assembly applications. In the mean time, thousands of units have been incorporated as essential components into highly productive machines around the world.
