Jesma offers a wide and varied range of hopper scales, all with a sublime finish achieved by modern design and up-to-date manufacturing facilities. Based on our many years of experience from the grain and feed industry, the Jesma hopper scales are a flexible solution for charge weighing. All JesHopper scales are designed and supplied in a modular construction, making the scales easy to extend by future requirements for production expansions. All JesHopper scales are designed with a high slide angle ensuring complete and reliable emptying. The JesHopper construction is thoroughly tested and meets both current and future requirements to a safe working environment and operation reliability. Jesma hopper scales are available in different standard versions, with capacities from kg. Dust tight lid with a flexible connection ready for connection of screw feeders ort other feeding devices. Available in compliance with ATEX zone 20 inside the scale, and if required according to zone 22 outside the scale. The JesHopper is availiable as a single and a double hopper scale.

3 reliable accuracy How to choose the right hopper scale: Theoretically the lenght of the hopper scale can be infinite, as long as the filling of the hopper is even, and the max. distance between the supporting load cell pillars are 6,000 mm. Most hoppers are between 6,000 mm and 24,000 mm. The height of the hopper is determined by the outlet of the largest dosing device (volume of 1 dosing device per batch). The lenght is determined by the number and distance between the dosing devices. The width of the hopper is standard, due to the requirements of the slide angel, but can be altered depending on the current project. Things to take into consideration: What is the size of the batches? How many batches per hour? How many components are there per batch? What is the distance and placement between the dosing devices? What is the size and the filling speed of the dosing device? What type of chan conveyor is used, and what is the capacity? 4 Construction JesHopper EEK - Single The single hopper scale type JesHopper EEK consist of scale support with integrated load cells and a weigh bin. The single hopper scale is further available prepared for customer chain conveyor, or as a complete unit from Jesma including chain conveyor The modular scale design creates high flexibility and perfect opportunities for future extensions of the scale. The products are added successively from the feeders, and when the final charge is achieved, the material is conveyed from the scale by means of the chain conveyor in the bottom of the weigh bin. The scale is placed on the supports where the load cells are mounted. The hopper and the chain conveyor is suspended directly in the load cells. Each support includes a test platform for placing of the weights for calibration of the scale. The JesHopper EEK is available in 2 versions depending on product characteristics.
