3 Eng Kong was founded in 1975 as an integrated logistics operator providing container related services to global firms operating in the Asia-Pacific region. In 1981, the Group broadened its business portfolio to include container depot businesses servicing the world s leading container leasing, shipping lines and major container terminal operators in Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong SAR. 3

4 Introduction Today, the Eng Kong Holdings Private Limited Group has established itself as Asia s leading fully-integrated container service provider with activities that includes container depot operation, warehousing, container freight station, new build container survey and other related container services. To support the high growth logistics infrastructure industry in the region, the Group has operations in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, China and Hong Kong SAR. 4

9 Depot Network Ningbo Anxin Logistics Co Ltd Jan12 Tianjin Keyun Int l Logistics Group Co Ltd(Depot Unit) Dec13 The acquisition of Anxin in Jan12 and Keyun s depot business in Dec 13 further strengthens Eng Kong s presence, market share and service capabilities in China. With the acquisition, Eng Kong is reputed to be the largest Independent Empty Container Depot Service Provider in Asia. Anxin has 5 depots located in Ningbo and Shanghai. Keyun has 7 depots located in Shanghai, Tianjin and Qingdao. 9

11 IT Infrastructure Lies at the CORE of Eng Kong s Production Systems, is a Virtualised, Fail- Safe I.T. Environment; running on the Latest and Advance Servers and Storage System. It provides High Availability, Robustness and Scalability to support Eng Kong s Container Management System, Financial System, Customer Portal and other Mission Critical Systems. Our Centralised Web-based Container Management System provides our Front-Liners an effective tool to record, update and track containers. Depots from different region access this system via 2 high bandwidth and low latency Wide Area Network connections. 11

12 IT Infrastructure At the backend; it provides Robust, Accurate and Timely information to Eng Kong Operations Management for daily operations and monthly trending needs. Besides an effective tool to Eng Kong, it is also integrated seamlessly via Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) to provide Real-time updates into our Customer s Systems. A Recovery Site or a HOT SITE are setup to provide 24x7 readiness to support our Business Operations and Mission Critical Systems regionally, in the event of a disaster strikes that may bring down Eng Kong s Production Systems. 12

Daily storage capacity of around 200,000 TEUs. Handle approximately 4 million TEUs a year of container. Over 170 units of lifting equipment for the group. Modern fleet of container stacking forklift that can simultaneously handle 3 boxes and double-box handler to stack containers up to 9 high. 13
