My colleagues in the drawing office import files directly to the Voortman proprietary production system software. The Voortman production system knows automatically what needs to be produced. In case of a disturbance in our network the system still continues uninterrupted! Directly from my control desk at the saw I am able to control all the machines, including the drilling system and the shotblaster. This sounds complicated, but it is very simple! On a single screen I can follow the complete production process and monitor everything effortlessly. > Connection holes are positioned at the correct position. The assembly is now simple, accurate and uncomplicated! Time to time we have questions concerning the production system or concerning a piece we need to produce. When we call the service department of Voortman they will help us immediately and in a pleasant way. Voortman technicians can see what happens on-line using Net Viewer, also all machines are provided with a web cam for real time monitoring. If it is necessary the technician can also login onto the system and their service-department control our machines remotely. Personally as operator I am extremely happy with the Voortman systems! 21 22
