3 Our story For over 50 years, Rapid Rack Industries has manufactured material handling storage products for industrial, commercial and consumer markets. Our capabilities include heavy-duty boltless shelving, two- and three-level catwalk systems, mobile aisle systems and Gorilla Rack consumer products. We offer work benches, carts, drawers and other accessories to enhance the use of our shelving products. Rapid Rack introduced boltless shelving over 35 years ago and revolutionized the shelving industry. The sturdiness and ease of assembly of the boltless product rendered the bolted style of shelving all but obsolete. In April 2005 we expanded to the eastern United States with a distriubtion center in Nashville, Tennessee to provide the same high-quality product and exemplary customer service that has allowed us to capture the largest market share in the west. 3

4 Standard Components Rapid Rack shelving products are the most versatile boltless storage systems available today. Components lock into place with the tap of a mallet. Double rivet channel beam (DRC) Provides greater capacity than double rivet beams. Angle post (AP) Used for standard shelving applications. Double rivet Z Beam (DRBZ) Reduced profile maximizes vertical clearance. Protects all shelf edges. Tee post (TP) Used with standard shelving units to create economical starter and add-on units. Double rivet low profile beam (DRBLP) Lowest profile double rivet beam provides basic structure while maximizing vertical space. Angle post, heavy duty (APH) Used where maximum unit stability and integrity are indicated, as in, double deck catwalk systems, flat top shelving, mezzanines or where seismic requirements must be met. The strongest in the industry. Single rivet beam (SRB) Tie support (TS) May be used for intermediate shelves on models up to 4 wide where maximum use of vertical space is important. Stabilizes beams and adds support for increased loads on double rivet type beams. Double rivet beam (DRB) Establishes basic unit structure as well as forming four-sided shelf support. 5 Introducing Loadmaster by Bridging the gap between standard shelving and pallet racks Rapid Rack s Loadmaster Series is designed for the hand loading of intermediate weight items. This versatile rack system can be used for hundreds of storage applications. In addition to storing cartoned merchandise in shipping and receiving departments, it can be used to display furniture and department store products, as well as for storage of medical and dietary supplies in hospitals. The Loadmaster Series bridges the storage gap between standard shelving and pallet rack, and is ideal for a wide range of manually loaded applications. Loadmaster racks by Rapid Rack are stronger and have greater load capacity than bolt-together units. Loadmaster racks are available in a number of upright and load beam sizes, perfect for supply or mail rooms, garages and other small storage areas. The wider loading areas, greater load visibility and load accessibility from either the front or back of the racks provides optimum shelving utility for available storage space. Excellent for storing moderate weight packages, boxes and bulky parts, Loadmaster racks are made of sturdy, high quality materials which have made the name Loadmaster synonymous with excellence in the material handling industry. Easy installation puts the Loadmaster just minutes away from use upon delivery. Wire, plywood and particle board shelving panels are available for varying load requirements. Loadmaster offers greater load capacities than conventional shelving because of their fully welded one-piece construction of all uprights and load beams. The mezzanine deck load or catwalk load must be included when computing the total capability of the unit. NOTE: Use APH posts, tie plates and footplates in all mezzanine and catwalk applications.
