The event will have a keynote address and multiple technical sessions. Theme: Role of ICT in Library Management Sub-Themes: Contributions: Papers will be considered on the above theme and sub-themes and related issues. Contributed papers must be submitted electronically to the Conference Convener Sh. Salek Chand on conferencelpaindia@gmail.com along with the copyright declaration form.

3 Author s Guidelines: The text of the paper should be in MS Word file (DOC), format with 8.5" x 11" (page size), 1.25" margins (Top, Bottom, Left & right), 12 point size, Times New Roman, 1.5 spaced. Papers must be in English and should not normally exceed 5,000 words or spaced pages, besides tables, diagrams, etc. with an abstract about 300 words and key words (Max. five). Only one paper from one author will be accepted. The paper should also contain the author's name, title, organization, address, telephone, fax, and address. All references should be presented according to the Chicago Manual of Style ( Authors must be register immediately after getting the paper acceptance. Important Dates: The last date for submission of papers April 20, Conference Date April 26, 2014 Registration Fees (Per Participant): The registration fee will include conference KIT, meals, refreshment, snacks, etc. No TA/DA and Accommodation is included. About Lyallpur Khalsa College: Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar, the premier educational institution of the country is ranked among the three topmost multi faculty degree colleges of entire India those have been re-accredited with A grade with a high 3.74 CGPA in 4 point scale, by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) in the meeting of the Executive Committee held on 16 September The name of the college has become synonymous with excellence in sports. It holds the record of winning Teja Singh Samundari Trophy for twelve times. This year the college has been awarded Shahid Bhagat Singh Trophy for its great contribution in winning MAKA trophy by Guru Nanak Dev University. About LPA: Library Professionals Association (LPA) is a registered society under The Society Act It is a nonprofit professional association constituted for encouragement, development and support to the Library and Information Science (LIS) professionals as well as LIS profession in India through free communication, organizing seminars, conferences, meetings, training courses, practical workshops and other short terms educations activities and orientation programmes with the help of new emerged information Technologies. Recently on 27th April 2013 LPA organised one day National Conference on LIFE CYCLE OF AN E- RESOURCE (KOAL-2013) in Delhi and Respected Dr Kiran Bedi Ji was the chief guest of the conference. Approximate 250 participants were present for that particular conference. On 29th September, 2012, LPA has organised its first National Conference on Knowledge Organisation in Academic Libraries (KOAL 2012) at Gandhi Peace Foundation, New Delhi. The conference was inaugurated by Hon able former Chief Election Commissioner of India Dr S.Y Quraishi. The guest of honour during this conference was Dr. (Mrs.) P. K. Walia, Head, Department of Library and Information Science, University of Delhi. The Conference was organised under the leadership of President, LPA Dr. M. Natarajan and Organising Secretary of the Conference and Secretary, LPA Sh. Salek Chand.
