1 Ship Security Alert System (FMT-SSAS-V1): FMT-SSAS-V1 offers a complete and dedicated SSAS solution, meeting all the requirements of the SOLAS regulation XI-2/6 and associated performance standards. The FMT-SSAS-V1 package offers the end user a complete and dedicated SSAS solution, comprising the on-board hardware and the shore-based online management. Secure HTTP encryption and password-protected identification ensure that sensitive data remains safe. On-board equipment consists of a transceiver with concealed antenna which is linked to two alert activation points. In the event of a security alert, when an activation point is triggered, there is no indication on board that the alarm has been raised. A ship to shore alert message is transmitted and via the online management system is delivered to designated recipients (including Flag Administration as required), identifying the vessel and its location, the alert message is repeated at 15 minute intervals until the SSAS is reset.
