HISTORICAL TRADITION OF TRUE CRAFTSMANSHIP In 1842, Halvor Sørensen moved to the small coastal town of Flekkefjord and started his own business. This marked the beginning of a 165-year-long history a history about faith in solid expertise, quality and reliability. From 1920, boilers became an important part of the company s product line. Solid craftsmanship and the ability to find the right solutions for any situation have generated confidence in the company. Satisfied customers promote growth and development. Industry: Since 1920, Parat Halvorsen has been an active supplier of boilers to the industry market, with more than 7,000 units delivered. Complete boiler systems are delivered and installed nationwide to customer groups including the manufacturing and service sectors. Typical customers are dairies, cleaners, bakeries, slaughterhouses, hospitals and processing industries, etc. Our units range from 100 kw to 50,000 kw powered with oil, gas, bio or electrical energy. Marine: Parat Halvorsen has since 1974 delivered more than 500 complete boiler systems to the marine industry, including oil-fired boilers, combination gas/oil-fired boilers and exhaust gas boilers. Parat Halvorsen delivers these systems in accordance with DNV, LRS, ABS, BV, ASME, etc. We meet environment and energy challenges head-on, one of our latest innovations being the Parat ORO System (Oil Recovery Operations). Offshore: Phillips Petroleum was a pioneer in the North Sea oil adventure and so was Parat. Since the late 1970s, we have supplied a multitude of boilers, pressure tanks and processing packages to this sector. The offshore industry s stringent quality assurance standards are closely followed up with ISO 9001 certification. To further strengthen its position, Parat is also ASME approved with U and S certificates. Since 2004, one of the Company s key products for the offshore FPSO industry is complete heating medium packages. Our latest delivery to Bergesen Worldwide Offshore is a compact skid implementing the new Parat High Voltage Electrode Boiler. Aftersales: Parat Halvorsen takes pride in every delivery. In order to live up to the company trademark, a team of highly skilled service technicians are ready to dispatch at short notice offering 24-hour worldwide backup to all our customers. In addition to offering commissioning, service, spare parts, modifications and repairs we are also able to service most existing systems delivered by other manufacturers.
