MAXGrade material series was chosen for its hardness, stability, and machinability. It reaches the hardness of chrome plating without the cost, extra operations, or problems associated with chrome plated gage sets. Also, Revolver gage sets are designed to accommodate future reconditioning without loss of taper, hardness, or quality by adding extra standoff to the plug gage. MAXGrade s inherent ease of machinability makes this possible by reducing run times considerably. Alliance Innovative is ISO9001 and AS9100 certifi ed, with an on-site temperature controlled, NIST traceable inspection lab, and off-site full climate controlled inspection facilities. Revolver plug gages are inspected on sine bar equipment, the most accurate option for determining taper per foot. Revolver ring gages are inspected on our 12 point contact CMM for size and geometry. Greater than 90% contact is guaranteed through a bluing transfer technique performed by expert staff. Every Revolver Custom Taper Gage set comes with a heavy duty guaranteed protective travel/storage case and a set of laser marked identifi cation badges on every piece. The affordable Compliance Lapping Tool sets use MAXGRADE-LT cast iron, designed to wear faster than the lapped surfaces, resulting in near perfect contact.
