6 Current regulation measures (1) The main regulations implemented concern: Activation of electronic gates (1 October 2001) to control access to the ZTL of the historical center, with the definition of the time windows and the access modes for the freight vehicles extension of the existing measures in the ZTL historical center to the districts Monti and Esquilino with the delimitation of the so called Freight ZTL permanent prohibition on access and circulation, starting from l January 2008, inside the Railway Ring alsofor the vehicles Pre-Euro 1 and Euro 1 6
