3 OUR STRATEGY Our goal is to stock and distribute steel and metals in a way that makes our customers profitable and competitive. This requires an international network of contacts, logistics and skilled staff in all levels of the organization. We stock approimately 4500 articles within steel, metals, aluminium and stainless steel, with the most complete range in the market. Pre-fabrication is an increasing part of our business focus. We use the latest state of art machinery for shot blasting and priming, alongside cutting plates and edge grinding of sections. 4 EXTRA PROCESSING SHOT BLASTING AND PRIMING To prevent your steel plates being damaged by wind and water during transport and storage. We shot blast in accordance to ISO 8501 SA 2 ½ as standard and apply a standard grey zinc shop primer with film thickness 20 +/-5 µm as standard. EDGE GRINDING Prior to shot blasting and priming we can offer edge grinding to avoid sharp edges on steel profiles through our fully automatic machine. CUTTING We can offer all profiles cut to fied lengths with mm precession. PLATE CUTTING Our state of the art machines can perform everything from simple plate cuts to advanced tailor-made solutions using gas, plasma and water-jet cutting. 10 OFFSHORE PRESS WELDED GRATING This type of grating has been specially designed for use in the offshore oil and gas industry. The background to this is the specification is that a test ball with a diameter of 15 mm must not fall through the grating. In order to guarantee this, an intermediate round bar is welded parallel and centrally between the bearing bars to the underside of the twisted square cross bars using the automatic resistance welding method. This provides the offshore grating with additional stability, which is very useful in the harsh conditions on offshore oil rigs.
