A negative test result for Verticillium albo-atrum must be presented by the exporter for certification. The Facility Name, USDA Registration Number, in block 12, "Distinguishing marks". The County and State (origin) must be stated on the PC. NOTE TO EXPORTER: All shipments of alfalfa hay must be sampled and tested for Verticillium albo- Atrum. A negative test result must be presented to the ACO for certification. If an IP is not presented, all phytosanitary requirements may not be met and shipment may be subject to delays or refused entry. In order to export grapes to China - shippers MUST register with The California Table Grape Commission (559) (info@grapesfromcalifornia.com). Registration MUST be done well ahead of the shipping date in order for the approved list to be sent to USDA, to China for approval and to the County ACOs in the field. ONLY Companies (and City) names that appear on the carton label and that match the approved China Registration list may be certified. ACO: Inspect 100% of all fruit from 1% of cartons approved for export. ACOs MUST check this list prior to certifying grapes to China and if the company is not listed, DO NOT CERTIFY the grapes. NOTE: It takes some time for China to add a shipper name and city to the approved list. Our main office sends out the most updated list to ACOs. If you have any questions, please ask your supervisor or the deputy. SUMMARY INFO Federal Phytosanitary Certificate Required. The shipment must be free from pest & soil. Each pallet should have a pallet tag. If upon arrival in China, identity of grower or vineyard on the cartons or pallet is not found, the shipment will be rejected. If the grapes from unapproved growers or vineyards are found on arrival, the shipment will not be allowed to enter. If the shipment transits a regulated Medfly area, the shipment must be in a sealed container. NOTE TO EXPORTER: The packages should indicate the fruit name, origin county, name or code of packaging plant, grower/shipper in Chinese or English. If going by sea, the container number MUST be written in distinguishing marks of the phyto. If going by air, the shipment must enter one of the two approved airports. AD Required: All fruit in this shipment complies with relevant regulations of China and originates from approved participating vineyards and counties.
