Abstract. University Laboratory is an important base to develop students' creative ability and practice ability, the traditional management model is inefficient. Laboratory management mainly includes the experimental teaching management, equipment management, laboratory safety. This paper introduces the key technology and architecture of the Internet of Things, and then puts forward a laboratory management mode Based on the technology of Internet of things; its application in laboratory management was expounded. The results show that it can effectively improve the management efficiency and management level. Introduction Internet of thing (IoT) is considered as the third wave of the world s information industry following the computer and the internet. In 1999, the United States Auto-ID first proposed the concept of the "Internet of Things". Internet of Things is an integrated part of Future Internet and could be defined as a dynamic global network infrastructure with self configuring capabilities based on standard and interoperable communication protocols where physical and virtual things have identities, physical attributes, and virtual personalities and use intelligent interfaces, and are seamlessly integrated into the information network [1, 2]. In August 2009, Chinese premier Wen in the Wuxi visits sensing industrial development, clear instructions to early planning for the future, earlier breached the core technology, and explicitly requested as soon as possible to establish the sensing information center, called Experience China" center. The Internet of Things: through radio frequency identification (RFID), infrared sensors, global positioning systems, laser scanners and other information sensing device, according to the agreed protocol, any items with the Internet connection, the exchange of information and communication, in order to achieve intelligent identification, tracking, positioning, monitoring and management of a network concept [3]. University laboratory is an important base for teaching and scientific research and it is the important practice place for training the innovative spirit and practical ability of students. With the rapid development of information technology, the university laboratory management is necessary to introduce the technology of Internet of things, in order to improve management efficiency and management level. The Key Technology of Internet of Things The architecture of the Internet of things was composed of the perception layer, network layer, and application layer. Perception layer mainly realizes intelligent perception function, including information collection, capture and object identification, Such as RFID read-write technology, sensors and sensor networks, intelligent robot perception technology, telemetry remote sensing technology, IC card and bar code technology. The network layer mainly realizes the information transmission and communication. Bearing network mainly is the current communication network, All rights reserved. 2 666 Manufacture Engineering, Quality and Production System II such as the Internet, mobile communication network, enterprise network, etc. Application layer is mainly include all kinds of application, such as monitoring service, smart grid, industrial monitoring, green agriculture, smart home, environmental monitoring, public security, etc. RFID can identify target object automatically via radio frequency signal and obtain related data. It has high metrical precision, strong anti-interference and it is easy to control. The most basic RFID system consists of labels, readers and antennas. Currently, RFID technology in industrial automation, object tracking, transport control and management, security and military purposes has been a wide range of applications. Wireless sensor network is consists of a large number of tiny sensor nodes which have ability of apperceiving, computing and wireless communicating. It has physical layer, MAC layer, network layer, transport layer and application layer. The frame of typical sensor network usually consists of sensor node, receiver transmitter, Internet, communication satellite and task administration node. When the node was destructed or out of work, the system can adjust automatically to ensure the regular communication of the whole system. Wireless sensor networks provide a new platform to sense the world, process the data. It is widely applied in lots of fields, such as military defense, industry control, agriculture control, city management, biomedicine, rescue, remote control to danger zone, manufacture, etc. Network communication technology mainly realizes the bidirectional transmission of data and control information, route selection, emphasis on low-speed and short-range wireless communications technology, low-power routing, self-organization communication, M2M communications technology, IP bearer technology, network transmission technology, access technologies of heterogeneous networks integration. The M2M technology refers to the techniques and methods of establishing a communications link between people, machines, and systems. Cloud Computing is a product that integrates computer technology and communication technology, such as grid Computing, distributed Computing, parallel Computing, utility Computing, network storage, virtualization, load balance etc. The basic principles of cloud computing by making the calculation distribution in a large number of distributed computers, rather than the local computer or a remote server, the enterprise data center operation will be more similar with the Internet. Cloud computing is a system with strong computing ability and it integrates lots of low-cost computing entity through network. Cloud computing is a core idea through continuously enhancing "cloud" processing capacity, reduce the user terminal treatment burden, finally the user terminal simplified into simple input/output devices, and can according to need to enjoy the "cloud" powerful calculation processing capacity. Google search engine is one of the successful application of cloud computing. Most applications of Internet of things involve personal privacy. Internet of Things must provide tight security and controllability. This is an identification (ID) tags or identification code can optionally be scanning in the remote, and automatic tag and indiscriminate response to the reading instruction and its stored information is transmitted to the reader, which on the need to ensure that state and corporate secrets are not leaked, but also to ensure that the privacy of the owners of the tag was inviolable, and these will lead to security and privacy technology to become one of the key issues of the Internet of Things. In addition, the terminal security management, physical security of the sensing nodes should be given considerable attention [4, 5]. Laboratory Management System Based on Internet of Things This paper designed a laboratory management system based on Internet of Things. This system has six function modules, as shown in Figure 1, including experimental teaching management module, experimental attendance management module, equipment information management module, equipment maintenance management module, laboratory environment management module, and laboratory safety management module.
3 Advanced Materials Research Vol Teaching management. In order to ensure the orderly of experimental teaching, urge students to the laboratory on time in class, teachers often have to roll-call. This method is a waste of time; it is not convenient to information statistics. Internet of things technology based on RFID can be an effective solution to this problem, to help the teacher to easily grasp the attendance list of students and attendance stage statistics. RFID readers installed in the laboratory door (entrance guard), and students to use the campus card or specially made labels (such as embedded badge) into the laboratory, the RFID reader automatically read the student information, and transmit the information to the background database to save. The teacher can check student attendance through WEB; also can be carried out within a period of time attendance statistics. Students through the WEB query their own attendance, and through the Internet can to ask for leave. For the open laboratory, by means of laboratory RFID entrance guard, refuse non-period class students and teachers into the lab, effectively eliminating the security risks of the lab, and ensure the safe operation of the laboratory. Equipment information management. The lab purchased equipment, usually to establish equipment management ledger, and fixed asset labels posted on the equipments, recording equipment information. The manual mode is low efficiency, can t facilitate equipment information update, and easily lost or defaced. Use RDID technology, installing RFID tags in equipment to store the basic information of equipment. Such as equipment name, equipment Numbers, types, specifications, production date, unit price, manufacturers, maintenance records, etc. Through the RFID reader to read the equipment information and the equipment information transfer to the background database. When the equipment information change, use RFID reader modify tag content, updated tag information is automatically sent to the background server for storage. To often equipments of movement, through the RFID reader automatically record the information of equipment in entrance of lab, and improve the efficiency of management of the equipments. Equipment maintenance record. In the daily work in the laboratory, the equipment maintenance is an important work. Installing RFID tag for experiment equipment, in addition to the basic information, also store maintenance each time, for future reference. The use of RFID tags, can clearly mastered the use of the equipment, and maintenance records. The technical personnel with hand-held RFID reader, put the maintenance information write tag, and at the same time, the information transfer to the background registration database. So effectively improve the equipment maintenance work efficiency and realize the intelligent management of equipment. With the promotion of the application of the Internet of Things technology, embedded sensors in the laboratory equipment to monitoring equipment condition, and real-time assessment of operating parameters of the equipment, to realize advance warning. For the use of equipment can also be a real time recording, such as the personal information of the user, using process, the starting and end time. Complete equipment use registration is convenient when laboratory equipment was damaged, to realize the responsibility identification. Ensure the experimental equipment are necessary care, and to extend the life of the equipment.

University laboratory is an important base for teaching and scientific research and it is the important practice place for training the innovative spirit and practical ability of students. Usually laboratory equipment is expensive; the demand of operation environment is higher. In addition, the laboratory safety is also an important topic. Some equipment have special requirements for temperature, humidity, light, the sensor can be installed in the laboratory, testing laboratory environment parameters in real time to ensure the safe operation of the equipment. The safety of laboratory mainly includes fire prevention and guard against theft. The laboratory can installs smoke sensors, infrared alarm and video monitor according to need. When staff leaves the lab, and then open the alarm device. Alarm automatic alarm when the thief into the lab; when a fire occurs, smoke sensor alarm is also activated. And video monitoring cooperation can fully guarantee the safety of the laboratory equipment. According to the need in the laboratory installation light sensor and controller, according to the light intensity and the position of the students in the classroom, adjust the intensity of illumination. The controller can also and projector and curtain rail equipment integration, according to the projection working condition to decide whether to close the curtain, reduce light brightness. Figure 2 is designed laboratory management system based on Internet of Things. As shown in figure, it installed RFID reader in the laboratory entrance. The students held a campus card or RFID tags into the lab, automatic attendance records. Each device is affixed with electronic tags, recording equipment and repair information, automatically records of the equipment out of the laboratory. The laboratory is equipped with a temperature sensor, smoke sensor and video monitoring, to protect the safety of the laboratory. The user queries laboratory information via the Internet. Conclusions This paper presents a designed scheme of laboratory management system based on Internet of things. The system can achieve the experimental teaching, laboratory equipment, laboratory environment, security management functions. The system includes six modules, such as experimental teaching management module, experimental attendance management module, equipment information management module, equipment maintenance management module, laboratory environment management module, and laboratory safety management module. The results show that the system can effectively improve the management level and efficiency of the laboratory.
