2 What is an electronic invoice? An electronic invoice is essentially another type of invoice in other words, it has the same legal effects as a physical paper invoice. Remember that an invoice is just a receipt of the delivery of goods or the provision of services. An electronic invoice is therefore an invoice that is issued and received in electronic format. Its main advantages include: Lower costs (printing, stationery, postage and storage) Shorter delivery times Time savings in company administrative processes 2

Issuance: Invoices, Self-invoice, Pro-forma invoices, Corrected invoices. Receipt: Acceptance, Rejection, Inclusion of comments. 6 Connections Bankia s Electronic Invoice Service has a series of interfaces with external platforms to deal with all types of invoices. Otras plataformas It also includes mechanisms for recipients that are not registered users of other electronic invoice services. We simply require an address for these invoice recipients. 6

7 Financing electronic invoices Bankia gives its customers the option to automatically request advance payment (factoring) of invoices that have been issued electronically via the service. If the customer wishes to use the factoring service, the list of issued invoices is displayed to enable the customer to select all those that it wishes to advance: 7
