COMPREHENSIVE MOBITITY PLAN-2021 THE COMPREHENSIVE MOBILITY PLAN(CMP) PREPARED FOR THE DELHI REGION CONSTRUCTED A TRANSPORTATION MODEL FROM WHICH TRAFFIC WAS FORECASTED FOR THE YEAR THE MODEL HAS BEEN DEVELOPED IN CUBE VOYAGER. 380 ZONES WITH VEHICLES AND PUBLIC TRANSPORT MODELED SEPARATELY. WE HAVE EXTRACTED THE DATA FOR THE BIJWASAN AREA FROM THE MODEL. TRAFFIC ESTIMATES FROM THIS MODEL HAVE BEEN TAKEN IN AS PRELOADS TO A LOCAL MODEL CONSTRUCTED OVER 18 ZONES WITH THE LOCAL NETWORK FULLY REPRESENTED IN THE SAME. THE MODEL HAS BEEN USED TO ESTIMATE THE TRAFFIC LOADING ON ADJOINING ROADS. The Comprehensive Mobility Plan, Network extract for Dwarka and its surrounding area 23

36 7. CONCLUSIONS The proposed Master Plan is in line with the Master Plan of Delhi 2021 (MPD 2021) The proposed Master Plan has been designed to fully integrate with local road network. Bijwasan Station and the proposed development do not change the capacity traffic ratios significantly, but some improvements at main entry and on UER2 have been suggested. The pedestrian movement is totally integrated with Metro station and can be extended in the future to the proposed ISBT The new Station help to develop this area as a Transportation Hub connecting all modes of transport New facilities have been incorporated as disaster management, night shelters, kiosk, waste management... New Iconic and sustainable Railway Station is proposed. The Master designed for sustainable features i.e. renewable energy, water management and energy efficient buildings. 36 BIJWASAN : A WORLD 36 CLASS STATION
