4 NCE THE ROPAK ENGINEERS HAVE DETERMINED THE MOST APPROPRIATE SYSTEMS TO USE, THE PRECISION MACHINING OF PARTS IS BEGUN IN ROPAK'S MACHINE SHOP. CRITICAL PARTS SUCH AS THE FILLER SYSTEMS AND GEARS BOXES ARE MADE FROM SOLID PLATE STOCK TO ENSURE DURABILITY AND SERVICE. QUALITY CONTROL IS AN INTEGRAL COMPONENT IN THE FLEXIBLE PACKAGING DEVELOPMENT PROCESS. ROPAK MAINTAINS A HIGH LEVEL OF QUALITY THROUGH THE IN-HOUSE MANUFACTURING OF 80% OF THE PARTS USED IN THEIR MACHINES. 6 Guards of clear poly carbonate are vertically mounted and electrically interlocked. Programmable temperature controls with high and low limits automatically compensate when machine speed control is adjusted.

The ROPAK V flexible packaging machines were specifically designed for large pouches needing three or four sealed sides. Dual pendulum control panels on swivel mounts allow for operator comfort and increased production time.

The electrical control panel shown here is used with the system seen above to regulate individual pouch inspection, multiple lane diversion, shingling and collating. Inspection/Collation This inspection system has been developed to offer accurate individual pouch inspection for both the ROPAK IV & V. It is capable of operating at speeds of 2,000 pouches per minute, with exact counts collated into various configurations such as multiple lane diversion, shingling, and more.
