2 MODEL P710N NARROW HEAD STRAPPING MACHINE This variation on a standard machine has been designed with a special narrow sealing head. This allows for strapping of packages that are too small for a standard machine to pull a tight strap. Common applications for this machine are tubing, wire or other small packages that provide as little as 2 of flat surface. The standard seal head is 3 1 /2 wide. The narrow seal head is 1 1 /8 wide. This machine will also accommodate some non-compressible products (subject to sample test). Track size is 12 high by 16 wide. This machine will handle strap sizes of 3 /8 and 1 /2 with core sizes of 8 x 8 and 9 x 8.

The side seal is ideal for heavy products as the weight of the product is on the conveyor and not on the strapping machine. In applications where dirt and dust are factors, the side mounted head is ideal. This machine can be integrated into fully automated lines and conveyor interlocks are a standard feature. Floor to seal centerline is 19. Available with track sizes combining in heights of 24, 32, 39, 47, 55, or 61 and a width of 20, 28, 35, 43, 51, or 59. Strap sizes of 6mm, 7mm, 9mm, 12mm, 1 /4 3 /8 and 1 /2. Core sizes of 8 x 8 and 9 x 8. Floor to top of lower track is 10.

4 MODEL P710A CONVEYORIZED AUTOMATIC STRAPPING MACHINE This versatile plastic strapping machine uses the same reliable platform as our popular P710 model, but adds dual conveyor belts for automated applications. With a built in inverter, the 710A offers variable tension control with a range from 4.5 to 154 lbs. This allows high tension for heavy packages or low tension to avoid product damage on soft materials. 5 MODEL P710LB LOW BOY STRAPPING MACHINE This variation on a standard machine has been designed as a low boy for applications where integration into a low conveyor line is required. This machine has a 17 conveyor top height and, as shown with a large arch, can accommodate tall packages and low conveyor lines simultaneously. Ideal for large packaged goods such as appliances, cabinets and furniture. This machine maintains portability and flexibility while allowing line operators to function at comfortable heights. The table height can be ordered to suit existing conveyors above the 17 standard. (Note - 17 with casters) Available with track sizes combining in heights of 28, 35, 43, 51 or 59 and a width of 32, 39, 47, 56 or 62. Strap sizes of 6mm, 7mm, 9mm, 12mm, 1/4 3 /8 and 1 /2. The bottom seal on this model is ideal in environments with high moisture and also provides more ergonomic advantages in package placement, as the item can be easily positioned above the sealing head. Standard cabinet environment controls maintain ambient conditions of electrical and mechanical components. A lower stainless pan is installed to reduce moisture contamination in critical components. Automatic feed NEW Operator simply inserts the end of the strap into the wheel to load the machine then feeds the accumulator and track automatically. Auto Refeed If the strap doesn t go around the track and into the sealing head, the machine will pull the strap out and attempt to refeed it. Loop Eject Feature If the machine cycles accidentally without a package in the track, the strap is pulled tight around the sealing mechanism and then ejected, preventing time consuming strap jam. This allows the operator to strap the package, while leaving hands free for other tasks. Ele ctronic primar y tension sensor The P710 series features an electronic rather than mechanical primary tension sensor. This reduces strap dusting. Serpentine Track 4 segments make up the P710 track allowing forgiveness in strap configuration while offering a significant reduction in wear of parts. Trouble Alarm A highly audible signal can be easily heard in the event of misfeeds or other problems, allowing the operator to abort the cycle and troubleshoot. End of Strap Eject The P710 detects the end of a strap coil and ejects a small piece that is in the accumulator to warn operator that the roll is low. The operator doesn t have to stick his hand in the machine to retrieve the end of the strap. Frequency Inverter Controls the secondary tension cycle of the machine allowing for simple high speed performance without the need for reducers, sprockets, chains or belts.
