1 MDG/PUR/HSG/ENQ/BOILER SERVICE DATE: 23/5/2015 To, Dear Sir, Subject: Enquiry for Boiler Cleaning & Passing of Boiler and its IBR related parts during Boiler Annual Inspection for the year We have 3 Nos Boilers of Thermax make, Model RFB-60, each of 6 Tons/hrs capacity, pressure rating 17.5 Kg/cm2 and 1 Nos 10 Ton/hrs capacity Model VITOMAX 200-HS 18 BARG. Annual inspections of all the Boilers are on below mention dates. Please quote on or before 02/06/2015. Moreover these rates will be applicable for throughout the year of tube replacement along with boiler formality charges, if required in emergency. No Details Registration no Last date of passing 01 Boiler No: 3 GT /06/ Boiler No: 2 GT /07/ Boiler No: 1 GT /08/ NEW BOILER 10TPH GT /07/2015 You are requested to quote your best price for the below mentioned scope of work As Lump Sum per Boiler Basis for segments 1 to 3 and for4 give the different rates. Duration for the doing this complete Job: 3-4 Days Scope of Work as follows: 1) Smoke Side Cleaning: - Opening of Boiler Front Door. - Removal of Burner (in one boiler only) if required - Removal of All spirals. - Cleaning of All fire tubes by Wire brush manually, followed by air cleaning. - Again by Pneumatic brush followed by air cleaning. - Clean Furnace side by Brush & Scraper followed by air cleaning - Removal of dirt/ash from all sides and throwing to the designated disposal area. - Assist in boiler open and hydraulic inspection. - Insert spirals back to the Boiler after Inspection (within 24 Hrs of inspection). - Closing of Front door. - Refitting of Burner if Opened. Note: 1) Cleaning to be witnessed & satisfactory of Mother Dairy s Engineer, followed by Boiler Inspector. 2) Water side cleaning - Opening the Main hole door by MDG - Chemical putting inside the Boiler shell from main hole.
2 - Increasing the boiler pressure to 3-4 kg/cm2 & holding for 24 Hrs- by MDG - Drain the chemical solution (Kindly note that advance information will be issue to contractor about our cleaning program. He has to assure the maintaining cleaning program once finalized) - Opened the mud hole and main hole for cleaning and other mountings and accessories. - Clean the chemical solution by flushing with water for 2~3 times. - Clean the water tubes by wire brush & scrapper. - Clean the waterside by fire hydrant water jet. Note: Cleaning to be witnessed & satisfactory of Mother Dairy s Engineer, followed by Boiler Inspector 3) IBR Related boiler mountings and accessories - Opening of all mountings and accessories from the boiler - To Take the seat by lapping for all mountings and accessories if requires - To prepare & keep ready all the IBR related parts for inspection - To provide the Blind flanges if required - Removal of necessary piping of gas line, Furnace oil line and other piping - To open all measuring and controlling instruments for cleaning and inspection - To open the necessary tubing connected to the boiler accessories and mountings - To do the maintenance if require for all mounting, fitting and accessories - To take the hydro test individual of all mountings and accessories before refitting. - Refitting all the mountings and accessories on the boiler for the final inspections - To take the boiler hydro test before the inspector inspect the boiler - Preparation for the open inspection - Boiler front door refractory work - During the job insulation removal and re-insulation to be done as per requirement - Refitting all the necessary equipments for the normal operation of boiler 4 ) ECONOMISER Cleaning - Open the doors of economiser - Clean the outside of flue gas tubes by wire brush/pressure jet. - Clean inside of water tube by acid circulation - Final closes the doors after cleaning activity. Note: 1) Maintenance and hydro test to be witnessed & satisfactory of Mother Dairy s Engineer, followed by Boiler Inspector 2)Boiler accessories and mounting are mention into the Annexure-1.1 for 6 ton 3Boilers and Annexure -1.2 for 10 Ton boiler for your kind information only. IBR related all the items come into contractor scope.
3 5) IBR related welding for the boiler tubes work if required We have 3 nos Boiler mention above and each boiler have 92 nos tubes and 2 Nos WHRB Boilers have 450 Nos tubes and 10 TPH boiler have 197 Nos. you have to do the tube replacement work as per IBR requirements and regulation if required during the annual inspection work and cleaning activities. - While the annual inspection if we find the tubes are in damage condition like cracking, puncher and any other damaged during the cleaning activities, replacement of tubes also is in your scope of work. - Removal of seal welding, collapsing expanding, removal of tube, cutting tube to the size, fitting of the tubes, expanding of the tubes, seal welding of the tubes. Offer should be given for each tube and give different rate for the different quantities mention below. 1) 1 to 5 tubes 2) 6 to 10 tubes 3) 11 to 20 tubes 4) 21 and above tubes MDG Scope of work - Consumable like Sulphamic acid, Boiler tubes, Wire brush, scrapper, emery paper, Water, Air, Electricity connection, spares of mountings and accessories will be supported from MDG. - MDG will bear only the charges towards govt. annual inspection fee. Contractor Scope of work - All tools and tackles like Pneumatic grinder, welding rods, requirements & arrangements for the tube replacements and any thing, other than the mentioned above and skilled manpower etc. are to be arranged by Contractor. - Consumable list, which are, require during the annual inspection and maintenance before two month of job start by Contractor. - Rest all the expenses like visiting, traveling, handling etc, are to be bear by Contractor. - Besides MDG scope of work, other works directly comes into the contractor scope. - Arrangement of Inspector s traveling and other facility required to be arranged by contractor - Contractor must complete the job before the mention time limit in any case. - Tube replacement job if required while the annual inspection and cleaning activities as per IBR regulation and requirements by contractor
