1 Edition: August 2017 Management Message Welcome to Dubai Maritime City Monthly newsletter, August edition. Belated Eid Mubarak to all our Business Partners, hope you all had a pleasant break. DMC s mission to is continuously monitor its customer needs and how best we can deliver solutions to such needs. We are pleased to announce that we have signed MOU with a leading media partner in Maritime industry to promote DMC events & activities and extend the same service to its Business Partners. Another exciting news is that DMC will be the first Maritime Cluster to implement e-service customer portal to stream line its customer interaction and go paperless. 2 Edition: August 2017 In line with its vision to be an international maritime hub and to create the best business and maritime services cluster, Dubai Maritime City signed a strategic partnership agreement with Tactics Maritime Creative Communication which is responsible for managing and publishing Marasi News the first maritime specialized media platform in the Middle East. In return, Marasi News shall provide integrated media services for companies operating in DMC, in order to help them increase their sales and enhance their presence in the market, through giving them professional and specialized media services that satisfies the needs of shipping and maritime companies. DMC aims, through this partnership, at enhancing the maritime services sector and create media momentum that will open up more business opportunities for the companies that operate in DMC. The agreement was signed by Eng. Ali Al Suwaidi, the General Manager of Dubai Maritime City and Mr. Mohammed Bin Dakhin Al Matroushi, the Editor in Chief in Marasi News and the Chairman of Tactics Creative Communication.

3 Edition: August 2017 DMC as a master developer has a mandate to provide convenient and safe built environment for all its business partners. Considering the current inconvenience we go through every day accessing the causeway leading to the DMC, DMC Management has awarded the development contract to Arabian Coast to design and built the Causeway road works. This will enhance the traffic flow by reducing the risks and allow smooth entrance to the to DMC. The project includes constructing the slip roads, refurbish the existing underpass and provide all traffic ancillaries such as road marking, way finding and landscape. The project will also complement to Port Rashid development by providing adequate access points. The causeway road expected to be open for business on early January 2018.

4 A s part of Dubai Maritime City's continued focus to be the World's Maritime Center and provide our tenants state of the art facilities and services, we are very excited to announce a new initiative for our Business Partners - our Online Customer e-services Portal. With just a few clicks, you can manage your unit online from anywhere in the world. Our eservices Portal has been designed with you in mind and enables you to: View your unit information Request for an NOC or other service requests Make payments online View statement of account, invoices and receipts Make maintenance requests And much more! We have setup a help desk at our offices on the ground floor. Feel free to come by and you'll receive training and credentials to access your eservices portal. 5 MaK Middle East operates a workshop in DMC with the corporate office located in the MBC building; its activities include engines' maintenance and service operations onboard ships and boats etc., in addition, supply of spare parts and components for repair, maintenance, renovation and efficiency upgrading. Services MaK Middle East LLC is a wholly owned Caterpillar dealership based in Dubai that operates a workshop in DMC and has its offices in the MBC building; its operations include the supply of parts and service for MaK and EMD marine engines and CM engines in powerplant installations. Its activities include engine maintenance and service operations onboard vessels and in powerplants, workshop overhaul of components and the supply of spare parts and components for engine repair, maintenance, renovation and efficiency upgrading. The current operations of MaK ME are being supported by MaK Asia Singapore and CAT Motoren Germany till formal opening of workshop planned in Dec MaK Middle East recognizes the importance of fast turn-around time for engine servicing, overhaul and repair work and has invested in a major engine component service exchange program. MaK Middle East offers customers the faster option of a service exchange unit rather than repair of the installed component. Cylinder heads, fuel pumps and turbochargers are part of the MaK service exchange program. Service exchange units can be delivered to a vessel or repair yard prior to the vessel arriving. These units have been rebuilt in the MaK Middle East workshop to factory standards. Critical components like these should always be overhauled in a workshop equipped with specialized tooling and equipment, staffed by factory trained personnel and operating to factory specified cleanliness and environmental control standards. All service exchange components delivered by MaK Middle East are tested prior to delivery and are covered under MaK Middle East warranty. 6 Workshops DMC workshops offer frontage parking with an open space for loading and/or unloading and an easy accessibility of vessels. The space facilitates the manufacture, fix, repair, construction of marine vessels along with the provision of installing machinery. Workshops of two sizes are available within DMC: A. Small workshops of size 260 m² / 2800 ft² B. Large workshops of size 884 m² / 9515 ft² Showrooms DMC showrooms are unique in the area since it is the only space used to display wide range of products, goods and merchandise related solely to marine industry. What is more they are easily accessible within the entire area. DMC offers showrooms of 84 m² area with a dedicated parking area for clients. Warehouses Warehouses of 510 m² / 5490 ft² are available to store spare parts and materials used for marine related business activities. Shops Small retail spaces of sizes 64 m² / 694 ft² are available at a very attractive rates to offer a specified line of goods and services needed by the community. Office Offices spaces available for rent in DMC Building, Maritime Business Center (MBC) with a dedicated parking area for clients.
