Responsbility All barn cleanout equipment will be washed/sanitized at the end of each cleanout and again prior to the start of the next All equipment to repair/replace in barns will be cleaned and disinfected between layer houses All maintenance work scheduled on daily basis from youngest to oldest flocks Catch ALL escapees when loading & unloading trucks Change each barn's entry footbath solution every two days Check Interior & Exterior Bait Stations Weekly Replenish if Necessary Cleanout Crew not allowed to enter any other layer house than the one they are currently cleaning Disinfect tires and wheel wells before returning from offsite barns to main farm Footbath in and out of each barn Immediately report any sign of wild birds inside barns Maintain Fly Indexing Program Monthly Report Unacceptable Activity Maintain Rodent Indexing Program Quarterly Report Unacceptable Activity Maintain silo pads and clean up any spilled feed during delivery at all locations Manure removal conducted from youngest to oldest flocks No cats, dogs or other domestic animals shall be brought onto the property No Entry Precautions onto Property for normal traffic No Exotic or Domestic Birds Kept at Your Home Production Tailgate Training meetings held monthly with all relevant personnel Remove barn trash every 2 3 days to dumpster Seal patz cleaner exit doors immediately upon completion of manure removal Separate boots inside each barn they should not be removed within the barn Tyvek suits and (optional) latex gloves when working in barns, they should not be worn out of their specific barns
34 Responsbility All Yellow Items, Plus: All employees should only be on areas of property that include where they are assigned to work, common area of office building and lunch room All Employees should sanitize tires onto property, either by main entrance or top gate Avoid the pond area Avoid wild birds Barn Workers should not enter processing area for any reason. Supplies will be relocated to more centralized area outside of processing Communicate with your scheduled incoming trucks regarding cleaning and/or sanitation Coordinate truck wash, sanitations as contacted by incoming truckers Do not visit any other farms with birds or neighbors with chickens DSD & Truck Drivers should carry pump sprayer in vehicle DSD & Truck Drivers should spray feet in and out of cab of vehicle with provided Lysol DSD & Truck Drivers should wash truck at least once a week, or when dirty. Sanitize tires and wheel wells onto property Ensure incoming visitors follow protocols Foot bath in/out of processing area Front gate is only open/accessible during normal business hours (M F 7:00 5:00) Secondary gate used during alternate times If you see suspicious instances of dead birds on the side of the road, report to USDA immediately so they can test for AI. (866) Immediately report any drop in egg production, sneezing & coughing amongst birds or increase in mortality to Jon or Bob Immediately report any weakness in biosecurity in barns opportunity for wild birds to enter building, etc Keep to the gravel driveways and off the grass as much as possible Maintenance/Multi Farm Employees should carry pump sprayer in vehicle Maintenance/Multi Farm Employees should change plastic boots between each location Maintenance/Multi farm Employees should Lysol feet in and out of vehicle at each location Maintenance/Multi Farm Employees should sanitize between properties, spray feet in and out of cab of vehicle with provided Lysol No Eggs/Packaging should be returned to farm from DSD stores or other distributor locations Outside Contractors sanitize trucks/equipment onto property (i.e. landscaping company, bird move trucks, etc.) Report sightings of wild birds/waterfowl immediately to Bob, Jon or Don Unless specifically assigned to a barn, employees should not be in any barn on the property under ANY circumstances Utilize foot sanitation mat into main office building Wash car at least once a week Wash hands thoroughly before entering your barn and before and after working with your birds
