The computer links that we have are constantly being monitored and updated to ensure that we cover all UK ports of arrival. We also subscribe to all possible Customs regimes to ensure that we can deliver specialist facilities such as Duty Deferment, Community Transit guarantee (T1), ERTS, Bonded Warehousing, NES, and comprehensive container haulage and general distribution services. All this is further enhanced by our Customs AEO status. Our friendly experienced personnel are ready and willing to offer our customers advice and information regarding all aspects of Customs documentation as required.

4 CROSS DOCKING & WAREHOUSING IN THE PORT OF FELIXSTOWE Our premises are equipped with multiple dock leveler loading bays and we are ideally situated to accommodate the safe cross-docking of full container loads which require unpacking on arrival at the Port of Felixstowe for urgent onward delivery. We operate 24 hour shunting dedicated to efficiently moving loaded containers from the port terminal to our port depot and ensuring the safe return of empty containers. This avoids expensive quay rent and demurrage charges. Our depot is Customs AEO certified, with over 5000 sq metres of high quality inside storage, with large storage areas also available outside. This includes Customs bonded areas, Customs ERTS cargo bays and storage facilities for pharmaceuticals and food products. Cargo is safely and securely stored, handled only by our own team of trusted staff, with stock control and movement managed using our bespoke warehouse system.

5 SECURING CARS AND MOTOR VEHICLES INTO CONTAINERS Our depot is equipped with the ultimate facilities for loading cars and motor vehicles into containers on exports and also the unloading of containers on imports. We have 24hr CCTV monitored premises in the most secure area of the port, ideal for receiving and handing out motor vehicles. We also provide safe and secure storage options, both indoor and outdoor as required. Our professional and courteous personnel are on hand to receive/hand over vehicles and assist with all documentation including Customs formalities, and the securing of vehicles in containers is handled only by our own directly employed and trained staff. Offering 24 hour shunting of containers between our depot and the port container terminal ensures efficiency.

6 CONTAINER TRANSPORT AND CURTAIN SIDE DISTRIBUTION George Baker (Transport) Ltd is our in house container transportation company offering reliable and cost effective container delivery services from all major UK ports to any UK destination. Complementing our established range of freight services, we have our own core fleet of high spec and well maintained 44 ton units with directly employed professional and courteous drivers. We also operate with curtain side trailers for distribution of palletised cargoes nationwide. Our services include next day for time sensitive loads and a direct delivery service ensuring the safe arrival of loads of a delicate nature. All rates include tri-axle and fuel surcharges to ensure that there are no hidden extras, offering an efficient and economical nationwide service.

10 SECURITY Security of our site and goods stored on our premises is paramount, and we are proud to have one of the most secure depots in the Port of Felixstowe. Our optimum security system has been specifically designed by leading independent security specialists to meet our individual requirements. Our CCTV coverage utilizes external, internal and covert cameras, with the latest in digital recording 24/7 365 days a year. 8 external dome cameras provide extensive and detailed views of our gate, yard and car park areas as well as the vulnerable areas behind our buildings. Additional dual chip static cameras further enhance our coverage focusing on particular areas such as warehouse doors and loading bays. We are directly linked through to a remote monitoring control centre and Suffolk Constabulary HQ and in addition to all of this our own security is reinforced by comprehensive security measures which cover Trinity Distribution Park on which we are situated.
