8 Storage Systems Unique Automated Storage Systems Viscon Logistics designed and realized highly unique automated storage systems. Our innovative solutions for pallet storage and box/ crate storage make the difference compared with the well-known systems in the market like stacker cranes (AS/RS systems) and multi shuttles. Our storage systems combine the highest possible storage density with 24/7 capacity, maximum flexibility, and is functional in temperatures as low as -30ºC. Remarkably, these systems require less investment than the competition and achieve a high and reliable performance. Viscon Logistics combines these innovative storage solutions with the in-house designed warehouse software, including many custom made functionalities like smart (pre)sorting, automated optimization, tracking & tracing, preferred routing, automated (fault)logging and FIFO/LIFO principles. 11 Order Picking Systems Order fullfilment expertise As experts in order-fulfillment, Viscon Logistics understands the complexities of an order picks system within a warehouse environment. We translate the unique demands of a customer in practical solutions. Viscon Logistics offers applications in a wide variety of industries, from man-to-goods till goods-to-man. Products in these warehouses range from food to non food, based on product carriers. Man-to-goods Pick to Light is the ideal tool for use in environments where fast-moving unit picking takes place. Compared to rival picking technologies such as voice or RF, Pick to Light offers the most significant potential productivity benefits, along with all the expected improvements in order accuracy. We translate the unique demands of the customer in practical solutions. Goods-to-man To bring the efficiency to an even higher level, we bring the items to the operator by one of the many product handling systems Viscon Logistics can provide. An operator receives the items fully automated and in the required sequence. This can be done by our innovative automated storage systems where items to pick can directly be offered to any position. Besides machinery, Viscon Logistics also designs and produces the required software solutions. This way we are able to provide the maximum flexibility to our customers, resulting in unique solutions.

12 Sorting Systems Sorting solutions Depending on both the products to be handled and the required capacity, Viscon Logistics utilizes a broad range of sorting solutions for both food as non food applications. Together with the solid knowledge of the logistics in front and behind the sorting process, Viscon Logistics can consult through the supply chain and offer unique solutions. The large part of the solutions will consist of products produced in-house by Viscon, which gives you the advantage of a one distinct supplier with the right expertise. 13 Logistics Control Software Warehouse Control Software Viscon Logistics Control With Viscon s Warehouse Control System by Viscon Logistics Control ( -WCS) you are efficiently in control regarding your logictics in our compact storage systems, sorting lines and other logistical processes. Based on your preferred strategy for storage (high density of products or ABC) and retrieval (FIFO or LIFO) all processes are being handled as efficiently as possible by the VLC -WCS. The VLC-WCS proves this by using smart and proven algorithms, and by controlling and monitoring all other (mechanical and PLC) components directly. By using (automated) scanners, buffers and other smart components, we make these processes fast, precise and safe. With the -WCS you have insight in all current (and historical) data at any given moment. With VLC-WCS you have access to all current (and historical) data at any given moment, directly through our interface or via one of our own systems. With our graphic interface, with different information layers of your choice, our system can be controlled manually. VLC can support your logistics from A to Z as a stand alone package, but can also be seamlessly connected with your ERP system.

14 Project approach Viscon provides different kinds of solutions for either storing, sorting or orderpicking as defined in this brochure. However, a project approach is elementary at Viscon Logistics. Directly after the order award the existing customer contact is being extended with a project team on both sides. To ensure both parties, that each party lives up to the expectations, Viscon insists on a clear, agreed upon communication structure and clear recorded requirements in the form of a detailed functional specification. This creates the opportunity to measure the progress in the project as well. Since 1927 our company has been involved in automation in the agro/ horticultural sector, where we started out in the Flax industry, the soft wire mater al used to produce clothing. This company was established by the great grandfather of the current generation owners, Jan Visser. After the demise in the flax business in 1967, the next Visser generation started to buy and sell equipment in the horticultural industry under the new company name Visser I.T.E.. As the horticulture industry rapidly grew and diversified, it created a demand for custom made machinery. The Visser family took this opportunity and started to develop and manufacture their own machinery and provide custom made automation projects. Years later, the experience and success in horticulture led to expansion in different Agro & Food related sectors, such as Fresh Produce, Poultry and Food Logistics, which where named Viscon : deducted from Visser Construction. In the last two decades the family company grew from approximately 40 employees, to over 200 employees active in different sectors all over the world.
