3 Low Profile SPAN-TRACK Nests Between Beams Low Profile installs between and behind beams for full use of vertical space at each level. Fits ANY pallet rack available in to-the-inch cut lengths. Drop-In design is easy to add to existing rack or to reslot without tools. Span-Track Hangers are placed onto front and rear beams to support each Low Profile track. Front hanger is a carton stop. The track does it all without altering or adding to rack structure, and without extending into precious aisle space. Rollers at front of track should be lower than top of beam, which acts as a stop. 4 SPAN-TRACK 3D Span-Track 3D CAPACITIES & LENGTHS Unsupported spans of up to 12 ft. are possible, depending on product weights. Between beam dimension (BBD) determines 3D track length required measure level distance between front and rear pallet rack beams. With an additional beam supporting the splice, capacity and superior flow are maintained from load point to pick point. TRACK WIDTH Span-Track provide excellent product tracking no guide rails are needed. Cartons with firm flat bottoms may be wider than track section. ROLLER CENTERS Cartons with firm flat bottoms will flow properly if supported by at least three rollers. Poor bottoms or heavier weights may require closer roller spacing for proper flow. 5 Each Pick Solutions: Pick Tray Pick Tray Presents a New Angle Combined with Span-Track s superior carton flow, full baywidth, adjustable Pick Tray maximizes view and access in each pick applications. Tilted product presentation greatly improves pick rate and accuracy. Bridge Hangers are used on the beam where Span-Track sections meet Pick Tray. Drop-In design makes installation easy. Cartons must be 6 or longer. Galvanized steel Pick Tray is rated at 50 lbs./ft. Angle adjusts from 15 to 35 degrees. Pick Tray widths available from 5 ft. to 10 ft. in 6 increments. 18 and 24 deep trays are standard, with a 2 or 4 front stop. Optional label holder attaches to tray front. 6 High Profile SPAN-TRACK High Profile Model installs on any pallet rack beam. Track can overhang beams for increased storage space and contouring of racks. Ideal for loose pick applications. Fully adjustable left, right, front and back. Retainer Angle is a 14 gauge galvanized strip that attaches to full length of front and rear beams. Lock Arm secures Span- Track to the rear beam Retainer Angle and prevents any accidental movement. Simple lock/unlock action enables one person to easily adjust or relocate track without tools. Track is adjustable front to back and left to right, either flush or with overhang. OUTSIDE OF RACK (FRONT & REAR) LOCKED UNLOCKED Front and Rear End Features: Front end of High Profile Span-Track acts as a raised carton stop. Rear end has a load bar to absorb impact loading. Both ends have 2 label holders built in. Flush vs. Overhang vs. Contour. Track can overhang rack at front and rear. Pick face profile can be straight or contoured. Most full case picks use a straight face. Loose picks use a contoured face each level has less overhang than the one below for a stepped effect, optimizing product visibility and access. In applications with pallet storage above Span-Track a flush face (no overhang) is recommended to avoid damage to track by fork trucks while loading and unloading pallets. High Profile Knuckle Overhang with an Angle This is High Profile Span-Track with a Knuckled front end, angled 15. Carton tilts toward the picker for excellent visibility and access. Perfect for loose pick applications where front end overhang is desirable. The knuckled section is available in three lengths and does not add to overall track length. High Profile can overhang beams at front, back or both ends. Measure (level) the distance from outside the front beam to outside the rear beam to find the out-to-out dimension. High Profile track length must exceed this dimension.
