4 Valin Truck Loading LACT This system is controlled by a driver. The volume is a preset volume so that the tanker truck or rail car is not over or under loaded. The operator will start the system when safely and properly connected and the system will shut down when the pre-set volume is reached. The basic operation of the LACT system is virtually the same as the pipeline LACT. 1 Truck Loading Valin Pipeline LACT Pipeline LACT units are generally located in the field on a lease and hooked up to a delivery pipeline. Traditionally they are supplied by a supply or storage tank that has high and low level switches. Once the unit begins to supply product to the pipeline, a BS&W monitor checks to be sure that the stream has no water or sediment in it. Valin LACT units can either be designed to pipeline pressure, or they can be designed to ANSI 150 lb, and have a shipping pump that will boost from low pressure to nearly any pipeline pressure needed. 2 Pipeline Valin Natural Gas Driven LACT 3 Natural Gas Driven Pump Truck Loading LACT The Natural Gas Engine Driven LACT unit is designed to run on leases with no power available. The PLC and controls run on solar power and the pump runs on a gas powered engine, with safety in mind. The volume is a preset volume so the tanker truck or rail car can never be over or under loaded. These natural gas units can load truck, rail and pipeline. The operator will start the system when safely and properly connected and the system will shut down when the pre-set volume is reached. The basic operation of the LACT system is virtually the same as the pipeline LACT. Valin also has a design to convert the unit from gas to electric once suffcient power is available.

6 Valin Truck Unloading LACT In truck unloading applications an operator controls the unit similar to the tuck loading application. The operator will connect the truck to the LACT with all the proper hoses and safety devices and the pump is turned on. A major difference between loading and unloading is that in an unloading application, the hoses will need to be released for proper measurement. In these applications, a small holding tank (manifold log) will need to be part of the system. This holding tank allows for the air to be vented off and just the process fluid to move through the systems. The pump start and stop are run off switches inside this manifold. 4 Truck Unloading Valin Pipeline Gathering LACT The gathering skid is a custom designed unit that can flow above 210,000 BPD. The system can be designed with redundant meter runs. 5 Pipeline Gathering Valin Winterized Pipeline LACTs The LACT unit has many options available, it can be a combination unit, housing produced water transfer pump, and oil LACT in the same building. Class 1 Div 1 or Class 1 Div 2. The unit can house a separate motor control center building with all controls enclosed. 6 Winterized Pipeline

8 BC3 Hybrid 3 Phase Separator The Hybrid separator is designed to remove most of the gas through centrifugal forces. A smaller footprint and much shorter residence time means your product is ready faster. Valin can also provide a PAK System to precisely measure oil, gas and water right at the wellhead.
