7 CORPUS CHRISTI IFORMATIO & ACTIVITY ROCKPORT TERMIALS LAD AVAILABLE FOR SALE Port Corpus Christi is the fifth largest port in the United States in total tonnage. The Port provides a straight, 47 deep channel (approved and authorized for 54 ft.) and quick access to the Gulf of Mexico and the entire United States inland waterway system. The Port delivers outstanding access to overland transportation, with on-site and direct connections to three Class I railroads, BSF, KCS, and UP, and direct, vessel-to-rail discharge capabilities. The ueces River Rail Yard, provides eight tracks for storage of unit trains up to 8,500 feet long. Investments Cheniere Energy Liquefaction Plant $13B Corpus Christi Liquefaction, LLC (Corpus Christi Liquefaction), a subsidiary of Cheniere Energy, is developing a liquefied natural gas (LG) export terminal at one of Cheniere s existing sites that was previously permitted for a regasification terminal. The proposed liquefaction project is being designed for three trains with expected aggregate nominal production capacity of up to 13.5 million tonnes per annum (mtpa). The over 1,000 acre site is located on the deep water La Quinta Ship Channel approximately 15 nautical miles from the Gulf of Mexico on land owned or controlled by Cheniere. Oxy Ingleside Energy Center, LLC $13B Under construction, and with an investment of $55M, Oxy Ingleside Energy Center, LLC (OIEC) is located at the former aval Station Ingleside. Tianjin Pipe Corporation - America (TPCO) $1.3B TPCO America s new $1.3 billion seamless pipe mill is rising on a site near Gregory, following years of planning. This project represents the largest single investment by a Chinese company in a US manufacturing facility. The selected site is across US 181 from Port Corpus Christi s La Quinta Trade Gateway site in San Patricio County. When fully operational, the project will employ people producing 500,000 metric tons per year of 4 through 10 ¾ of seamless steel pipe. Corpus Christi Ship Channel Channel Improvement Project Extend La Quinta Ship Channel approximately 1.4 miles at 41 MLLW (completed) Deepen extension to 47 MLLW to match Original La Quinta Ship Channel (completed) Construction of ecosystem restoration features to protect endangered species, wetlands, and seagrass (In Progress) Widening the CCSC to 530 from Port Aransas to the Harbor Bridge PEDIG Deepening the CCSC from 47 MLLW to 54 MLLW PEDIG Adding 200 wide Barge Shelves at 14 MLLW across Corpus Christi Bay PEDIG M & G Plant $1.3B Fully permitted and under construction, the M&G plant, located on the north side of the Inner Harbor adjacent to the ueces River Rail Yard, is projected to be the world s largest PET plant, and represents a $1.3B investment.
