The price should be quoted on F.O.R basis inclusive of packing and forwarding, taxes, excise duties, freight etc. However if it is separate, it should be clearly mentioned in the quotation. 6. It should cover a warranty of at least one-year against manufacturing defect. 7. Realistic earliest delivery period should be indicated. 8. It is not binding on us to accept lowest offer. 9. 2 Scope of Supply Mother Dairy, Ghandhinagar have total two powder plant have capacity of 60 MT and 100 MT per day. For the packing of powder in 25 Kg heat seal bags, we required fully automatic powder packing machine as per the below specification. Specifications of powders: All the supplier has to offer system which will handle a range of powders as specified as below Products to be packed: A) SMP-agglomerated, moisture 4 percent(max),bd B) SMP-non agglomerated, moisture 4 percent(max),bd C) WMP-agglomerated, moisture 4%(max),BD D) WMP-non agglomerated, moisture 4% max,bd E) Dairy whitener-agglomerated, moisture 3.5%(max),sucrose-18% max,bd The line should be comprises of following station: 1) Non Rotating Bag Filler: Capacity-Min. 5 MT per hour in all above mentioned powders. Filler having limited intervention packing system, should offer improve productivity and reliability through 100% Bag Control. Minimise operator intervention and reducing the need for an operator inside the packing room. Four independently controlled bag stations are combined into a Non rotational design, performing bag filling, preparation and closing activities. Free standing unit controlled via PLC featuring HMI touch screen interface. Integrated MCC panel Features integrated activity stations, comprising: o Bag magazine to hold up to 200 bags o Bag presenting. o Bulk powder filling by vertical positive metering auger utilizing the bottom up filling system. o Coarse and fine top-up filling to target weight.

Colour RAL 9010, White and AISI 304 stainless steel. -Scale verification There should be no dusting in the packing room or from packing machine at all.zero leakage system. 2) Modified Atmosphere Packing (M.A.P): The rebalancing of the gases inside the packaging in order to improve product shelf life. The filler M.A.P system should designed for use with CO2/N2. The gassing operation involves filling the empty bag with CO2 /N2, then after filling, maintaining a blanket of CO2/N2 within the bag until it is sealed. The introduction of CO2/N2 within the top of the open bag is to reduce the entry of Oxygen. Controlled from filler control system. Bottom up pre-flushing of empty bags with CO2. Additional CO2 flushing during the top up and neck stretching process. Automatic fault mode continues CO2 flushing at neck stretcher during down line fault events. Automatic isolation of the de-aeration probes. Product pre-gassing system. Carbon dioxide/nitrogen storage tank, penetrations, flashings and pipe work to header line on the filler. Notes In order for an M.A.P system to work, a pre-gassing system should be provided, which removes oxygen from the product and replaces it with an inert gas, typically N2. The residual Oxygen (RO) level of the powder must be <1.0% in the packing hopper prior to delivery to the filler. Machine should make no representation as to the effectiveness of the M.A.P process when run exclusively on N2 or mixed CO2/N2. Complete nitrogen flushing system. Residual oxygen content in the final bag should be less than 2%. Installation of Gas filling station with total automation should remain in suppliers scope.

Controlled from filler control system. Metering screw for sample collection, with fixed speed auger. Two outlet pipes with adapter for collection bag. Standard sampling regime software enables: o Adjustable start / stop set points for collecting varying sample sizes. o Adjustable sampling frequency. o Automatic change to empty collection bag when set point for collection is obtained (e.g. full pallet or batch) with manual intervention possible. o Constructed from AISI 304 stainless steel, Acetal; PETP. o Customised sampling regime To suit specific requirements of MDG. PLC / Site control system interfacing Linking sampler to site systems to speed product changeovers. 4) Vacuum Pump System: Used to provide vacuum services for the bag presenter, de-aeration probes and heatsealers. Positive displacement. Oil filled. Inclusive of motor, non-return valve, and safety filter Wall penetrations and flashings, Pipework. Electrical / pneumatic cabling and carriers to MCC. 5) Pivoting Out-feed Bag Conveyor Height adjustable conveyor to allow bags to pass from the heat sealer to the Bag rotator varying in height to suit packaging. Material: o Frame, Panels: Stainless steel AISI 304. o Belt Material: KVP Plastic belting Down line equipments should comprises of: 1) Bag Rotator. Automatically turns the bag side on and changes the bag from a vertical to horizontal position.

Inclusive of conveyor 3) Metal Detector Unit Free issue from MDG, supplier has to consider the same for machine designing. 4) X -ray identification of packed bags for detection of any foreign matter in the powder besides metal detection. 5) Bag Coding System Free issue from MDG, supplier has to consider the same for machine designing. 6) Bag Reject Unit: Rejects bags from the packing line against signal from Metal Detector. There shall be no printing of rejected bags (supplier has to make interfacing for printer and metal detector issued by MDG). Free standing unit. PLC controlled. Integrated platform or similar where the operator can assess the cause for rejection. Constructed from AISI 304 stainless steel, KVP plastic link belt. 7) Bag Conveyors Conveys bags between filler and down line plant.

Controlled from the filler PLC. All systems interlocked for safe and correct operation. Constructed from Constructed from AISI 304 stainless steel. 9) Breaker Hopper (Offset) A buffer hopper designed to control the flow of powder into the filler inlet at a constant rate and pressure. Includes port for balance between the pre-gassing hopper and infeed hopper, (excludes balance tube up to top of pre-gasser). Includes: o Fluidising point o Level probe o Flanged connections and flexible joints. 10) 100 % heat sealing in the liner by removing all air from inside the liner and then heat sealing. Our requirement is double heat sealing. There should be no powder between both seal. 11) Sewing Unit Upgrade A sewing unit integrated into the filler for tape and stitch closure of the kraft bag. Automatic double stitching of the bags. There should be option in auto for single stitching also if required. We may develop bag in which stitching is not required at all and after heat sealing only taping at the top of the bag to be done in auto. 12) Consumables and Critical Spare Parts Package The entire bidder has to consider consumables and critical parts required for 2 years of operation. The Packing Machine should be Non rotating.
