HOW IT WORKS Doing away with the traditional heavy framework associated with Conveyor repair, the Monaflex vulcanisation system uses lightweight inflatable Airbags and Heat Pads to apply the necessary heat and pressure consistently across the repair area. This simple, easy to use system provides a large repair capacity giving the user unrivaled flexibility and range with their repairs and splices. Large working area The large heated area allows full width angled belt splices to be cured in one operation saving considerable time. Straightforward. Little training is required, there are minimal components and a user friendly, quick to assemble design. Rapid Specially designed Heat Pads raise the temperature fast, getting the system to vulcanising conditions as quickly as possible. Simple requirements just single phase 240V 30A power and 30psi air supply. Our flexble, durable Heat Pads conform totally with the unique contours of each belt and the application of direct pressure means a smoother repair with none of the tearing problems sometimes encountered when scraping protruding repairs. DID YOU KNOW? Edges of conveyor belts are vulnerable to abrasions, tears and cuts. All Monaflex systems can be used to fully restore all sections of the belt, including the edges. There is no need for costly specialist systems for these specific jobs. 6

Vulcanisation is the chemical process in which soft rubber, through the application of heat and pressure, becomes solid and durable. During a repair, damaged material on the conveyor belt is removed and either replaced or the good belting is spliced back together.
