1 Summer Reading Assignment All World History AP students in the district are required to complete the summer assignment. Our expectation is that the work will be completed by the first day of school. Within the first week of school, there will be a quiz, test or essay over the assignment. The assignment and guidelines are listed below. Read: a. Chapters 1 & 2 of the required textbook - World Civilizations: The Global Experience by Peter N. Stearns et al, 7th edition. b. You will need to check out a book before school ends or in July or use the e-text (instructions will be on your teacher s website in June). Process a. All World History AP students are required to fill out the accompanying notes and charts. All answers should be handwritten. b. In addition, all students are required to take the online practice test (click the link). To find the online practice test or if you have any questions, please see the teachers websites below or the appropriate teacher below.
