1 Welcome to the Pearson Subscription Worktext Self-Service Portal This site will allow you to manage the following with your subscription orders: Update Order Quantity Update Ship Date Update Shipping Address / Attention Line Update Delivery Instructions / Warehouse Comments View the Latest Changes Made for the Next Ship Date View Previous Orders by Ship To Location The Subscription Worktext Self-Service Portal is located at: Getting Started Creating Your Account and Logging In To get started, you will need to create a new account by using your school/district address. Only school/district addresses can be used to make changes on this site. If you are a teacher, be sure to select your School from the drop-down menu. If you will be making changes for the entire district, select the District from the menu. Click the link to Create a New Account and provide the information to create the account. Once the account has been created, you will receive a verification . Click the Verify My Account link in the , and you will then receive a confirmation and be able to log into the Self-Service Portal. 2 Main Menu Ready to Make Changes Select the Discipline, and then select the type of change you want to make from the I want to drop-down menu as shown below. When Does an Order Ship? Managing Your Orders It s important to understand the worktexts will ship each year on the anniversary date of when the original order is processed in our system. For example: If an original order was processed on June 15, 2017, the worktexts will ship on June 15, 2018 and each subsequent year for as many years as you ordered. They will be delivered approximately 7-10 business days after the ship date. Please keep this in mind so that your worktexts will not arrive during summer when school is closed. 3 Update Order Quantity To update order quantities, select Update Order Quantity from the drop-down list on the Main Menu or from the Switch to drop-down menu at the top of any page. On the Update Order Quantity page, items will be grouped together by ship date. If you are logged in with a district login, the school you selected when you logged in is the one you will be able to adjust quantities for. To switch to another school in your district, click the Home / Main Menu link at the top and select a different school. To switch to a different type of change, click the drop-down menu next to Switch to and select from the list. 4 District Level Users: If you submitted one Purchase Order for multiple schools in your district for the same program, you will see the total quantity for the entire district displayed. Example: District Entitled Quantities: 888 If schools in the district have made quantity changes, the schools will be listed underneath the district total, showing the quantities requested for each school. Example: Requested Quantities for xxx School: 73 You will also see the remaining quantity for the district. Example: District Remaining Qty: 0 To change quantities for the selected school, update your quantities in the boxes next to the items in the list, and then click the Confirm & Submit button. TIP: You can View Original Order Info by clicking this link on any of the pages. This info includes: Original Order Date, PO Number, Length of Subscription, and Subscription Year Update quantities for the selected school here, and then click the Confirm & Submit button Select Ship Complete only if you want all items to ship together. If something is on backorder, the order will not ship if you have this box checked. NOTE: If you are increasing quantities at a school, and the District Remaining Qty is not showing enough to cover the increase, you must decrease quantities at another school first, to cover the increase. Switch to the school you will decrease quantities from and make those changes, and then return to the school where you want to increase quantities and then make that change. 5 To update the ship date for an order: 1. Select Update Ship Date from the Switch to menu at the top. Update Ship Date 2. Select a new month and day from the drop-down lists, and then click the Confirm & Submit button. NOTE: To facilitate the picking and packing of your order, the order information is sent to the warehouse 10 days prior to the ship date. Therefore, any ship date changes must be made before this 10- day window when the order is already in the warehouse being prepared for shipment. If you miss making the changes to the date within the proper time frame and the order ships, please know you will be responsible for paying the return freight. 6 To change the shipping address from one school to another: Update Shipping Address / Attention Line 1. Select Update Shipping Address / Attention Line from the Switch to menu at the top. 2. Use the Change to drop-down list and select the school you would like the shipment to go to. 3. Update the Program and Attention fields, as necessary, and then click the Confirm & Submit button. Select the school and update the Attention line here if you need to add a person s name instead of what is showing, and then click the Confirm & Submit button Copyright 2018 Pearson Education, Inc. or one or more of its direct or indirect affiliates. 7 Update Delivery Instructions / Warehouse Comments To update delivery instructions or warehouse comments on an order: 1. Select Update Delivery Instructions / Warehouse Comments from the Switch to menu at the top. 2. Make your changes in the fields provided, and then click the Confirm & Submit button. Delivery Instructions are to the freight carrier about the delivery (for example, Call xxx for a delivery appointment, no deliveries after 3:00 PM, etc.). Warehouse comments are instructions to the warehouse regarding physically packing the carton (for example, Pack by Grade, No mixed cartons, etc.). 8 The Latest Changes Made for the Next Ship Date To view the latest changes made: 1. Select The Latest Changes Made for the Next Ship Date from the Switch to menu at the top. 2. 9 To view previous orders (subscription history): View Previous Orders by Ship To Location 1. Select View Previous Orders by Ship To Location from the Switch to menu at the top. (You can also select View Subscription History from the Main Menu.) 2. Details about previous orders are listed here. NOTE: Please keep in mind that if you have added a new Ship To location, you will not see any previous order history for that location.
