3 Opportunity Seica Automation develop two different types of solution: Horizontal Magazine Handling SA-V8-HM-xxxx and Vertical Magazine Handling SA-V8-VM-xxxx Both solutions can be used for pass through or same side loading/unloading (Left or Right). The Seica Automation solutions are retrofittable, but will NOT be possible to change from HM to VM and viceversa.

4 Universal Frame The PCB may have different geometries such to make it difficult to introduce them in the system fixture To overcome this problem, Seica provides a universal frame this frame can be used on all of the Rapid Line Systems. 5 Both solutions uses standard Magazine/rack but the handling is based on two complete different way to work. V8-VM-xxx Means Vertical Magazine and use the Standard method of working, PCB come out Flat. V8-HM-xxx Means Horizontal Magazine and is used tilted of 90 degrees. The UUT come IN and OUT Degrees ready to be tested.

6 Rack - Magazine Information: Rack Magazine information is mandatory for both solutions. Minimum Maximum PCB dimension, will be exactly the same of selected Magazine Data Sheet. Bigger PCB can be tested only using MANUAL MODE by Pilot V8 Front Door. Is not possible to use 2 different size rack on same SEICA AUTOMATION module.

7 The PCB come in and out directly at 90 Degrees. Ready Position for feeding and testing The V8-HM-xxx Series include: Loaders and unloaders left or right, single or multi magazine

8 With SA-V8-HM-xxxx the magazine is operating on horizontal plane (same level). The rack load from right side and unload from left side. The magazine is moved always on horizontal position. NO POSSIBLE to use with standard Board Handling

9 Vertical Magazine SA-V8-VM-xxx series Are based on vertical (Normal) use of racks. The PCB starts horizontal and the Seica Automation unit provide to tilt t he PCB at 90 degrees ready for test. 12 V8-HM and V8-VM series are fully compatible with MRM software. MRM Multi Rack Manager WHY USE SA-V8-O-MRMK Option? Using the FP with Multi Rack Manager is possible to use the tester without operator assistance. During the night shift is customer can test up to 12 racks with 12 different type of PCB. Customer can run long test in the night.
