3 History Today, as a leading German supplier in the product sectors of gluing, grinding and protecting we can look back on a successful company history of approx. 35 years. Since its formation in 1975 the spectrum has kept developing from a mere retailer to a supplier of complete, adequate solutions for all fi elds of the industry. With our extensive in-house production possibilities we are able to react to the individual requirements of our customers in a quick and targeted way in co-ordination with our quality management system according to DIN EN ISO Mr Ernst Röckelein joins the department of industrial adhesive tapes at 3M Deutschland GmbH 1975 After 20 years of experience in the fi eld of industrial adhesive tapes the company Ernst was founded by Mr Ernst Röckelein as a trading fi rm for self-adhesive tapes and occupational safety products in Nuremberg 1977 Relocation to new and larger offi ce and storage rooms in Blumenstr. 9 in the heart of Nuremberg Start of the production of die cut parts made of self-adhesive tapes and printing of adhesive tapes for packaging. Management takeover by his son Harald Röckelein 1984 The product group of coated abrasives is included in the sales programme 1986 Relocation to Blumenstr. 11 in Nuremberg where 1000 m² of offi ce and storage space are available 1990 Relocation to a former shipping company building in Duisburger Str. 60 at Nuremberg harbour. Formation of the company Röckelein Fertigungstechnik GmbH as an independent company in Reuth/Saxony near Zwickau for sales activities in the new federal states of Germany, establishment of a warehouse and start of the production in Saxony 1995 Merger of both companies to. Both warehouses are combined to one central warehouse in Reuth 1999 Relocation to the new administration building in Mülheimer Str. 15 at Nuremberg harbor 2000 Relocation to a larger company building in Neue Reichenbacher Str. 15 in Reuth. This was necessary because due to the advancing expansion of the production (new printing machines, die cutting machines and log slitting machines) for self-adhesive tapes, the old building became too small even though several reconstruction measures were implemented 2008 Expansion of production possibilities in Reuth by means of a new production hall (1200 m²) 2010 Acquisition of 2 laser cutting systems with plotter function 2012 Launch of a computerized color management system of Fluid Solutions. Expansion of production facilities in Reuth by new production and offi ce space (1000m²) 2015 Expansion of laser production by an additional cutting system and a rotary laser. Acquisition of a water jet cutting machine

5 Converting Log slitting Especially for you we slit various carrier materials such as fi lm, fabric, paper, foam, VHB products or even adhesive films without carrier in the required dimensions. Contract production is possible as well. Die cutting Single and double sided self-adhesive die cut parts made of various materials facilitate the application, they save time and, by extent, money. We produce individually according to your drawings and your requirements. Various assembly parts can be equipped and connected in a fast and clean way with accurate outlines. Laser cutting With our very modern laser cutting machines we are able to produce shaped parts made of self-adhesive and non-adhesive materials without tools and also in small quantities, exactly according to your requirements. Printing Printed adhesive tape for packaging as an advertising medium distinguishes your parcel from all the others and strengthens the image of your company with very simple means. The print can be single or multi-colour. It is also possible to produce long rolls for packaging machines with a run length of up to 990 metres.
