1 Page 1 of 5 Title Select and use tools and workshop equipment in the industrial textile fabrication industry Level 3 Credits 6 Purpose This unit standard is for people entering or working in the industrial textile fabrication industry. People credited with this unit standard are able to: select the appropriate tools and workshop equipment for the job; use measuring equipment; use hand operated cutting and fastening tools and equipment; use power operated tools; and maintain tools and workshop equipment, in the industrial textile fabrication industry.
