The QUICK line is designed with special removable joints that make it possible to flatten the conveyor belt and easily overlap each element. The considerable amount of space saved results in equally considerable savings in terms of shipping costs, while maintaining the high levels of quality and reliability that distinguish all Roma products.

The material can be carried over simple curves or make U-turns while maintaining the same position. The speed is kept constant without any change due to the centrifugal force of the movement. Safe transport is ensured all along the path regardless of changes of direction and in height.

12 12 we alert Attracting and separating metal from other materials is simple and safe with Roma Metal Detectors. They are used when it is necessary to detect metal objects inside any type of item. Depending on the specific application, a coil mounted along the belt or in a tunnel is able to detect metals and the entire system is managed by Genius control panels. The degree of sensitivity depends on the distance between the metal object and the probe coil sensing surface (the shorter the distance, the greater the sensitivity is).

Striking the right balance between rotation speed and gradient is the key to the effective separation of the product from the sprue. We offer several alternatives for positioning with respect to the conveyor belt (direct, perpendicular, longitudinal, etc.) and just as many selection variables. The product is sorted, channelled and removed if necessary. The entire process is easily commanded with the practical control panel with running and stopping timer. Maximum safety during operation is ensured through safety micro-switches installed on the inspection hatches for immediate system stop.

22 22 we preserve Preserving your preforms during storage is the idea inspiring the SLIGHT DOOR system designed and improved by Roma to ensure that preforms are not damaged when loaded on the conveyor belt. The hopper is equipped with ultrasound sensors and releases the preforms from a constant height throughout the process, thus avoiding any damage to products. The Cross Conveyor provides for the storage of preforms without descent hopper. It is useful in the case of resistant and non-deformable products.

24 24 we control Controlling and managing a handling system is the key to leveraging the potential of Roma handling solutions. The innovative control panel allows managing countless functions applicable to the machinery, from simple start and stop commands to more complex operations such as counting, weighing and calibrating the load. The Genius Control Panel can be installed on any conveyor and features a user-friendly interface. Programmable controls and acoustic signalling are an invaluable aid during the production and handling cycle in any company.

25 GENIUS CONTROL PANEL MANUAL PAUSE-WORK PULSE PROGRAMMES For manual operation Sets work and pause timing in hours, minutes and seconds. For pulse operation FEEDER CONTINUOUS GF1/A main function GF1/B secondary function GF2/A main function Starts up the conveyor for a time equal to the duration of the signal coming from the robot. At the end of the feed signal, the control panel stops the conveyor and waits for the next signal. Like the MANUAL programme, but it allows managing a dry contact generally received from a metal detector antenna that stops the motor until automatic or manual reset. OTHER FUNCTIONS MACHINE STATUS: the relay is triggered when the START command is sent to the control panel; idle status is triggered by an alarm or in the case of a STOP command. (For PULSE and FEEDER only) the relay is triggered by the tripping of photo cell FC1; idle status is triggered when the photocell is released. (For CONTINUOUS only) the relay is triggered automatically or manually (depending on the userack setting) to send a reset to th e active metal detector;it automatically returns to idle status when the metal detector signal is emitted.
