2 Rev. 5.3 For over 50 years MG2 is specialized in the design and construction of automatic machines. The company was founded in 1966, when it introduced the first continuous-motion capsule filler on the market: the model G36, MG2 S.r.l

3 Lead by the Chairman, Ernesto Gamberini, one of the founding shareholders of the company, today the MG2 Group is a market leader in the manufacture of automatic machines used to dose pharmaceuticals into hard shell capsules. MG2 S.r.l

4 The MG2 group employs 190 people; the main headquarter (covering 15,000 square metres, employing 170 people) is based in Pian di Macina di Pianoro, in the province of Bologna (Italy). The MG2 group is also present on the international market thanks to the historical branch in USA and an extensive network of agents throughout the world. More than 90% of Company turnover is exported. MG2 S.r.l
