The new MACRO PWD series offers the possibility to choose between diverse machine versions with different configurations, able not only to efficiently process various types of powders, but also to satisfy all current safety and handling requirements. MACRO PWD is an automatic intermittent motion machine with a compact and robust structure, designed to dose powders, granules and milled products in glass or plastic bottles and jars. Thanks to its intelligent servo assisted technology, MACRO PWD is extremely user-friendly and flexible in its applications. Equipped with up to four independent dosing units, the machine can be designed to simultaneously dispense up to two different types of powders into the same bottle. Powder filling is performed by very reliable auger technology, which is a precise and consistent GMP & FDA compliant powder dosing system, with dosages starting from 1 g. Suitable for integration with a sophisticated in-process advanced check-weighing system (IPC), the MACRO PWD can reach up to 150 bottles/min.

4 MACRO PWD DOSING SYSTEM Advanced 100% check-weighing system EXTREME PRECISION COMBINED WITH HIGHLY ACCURATE PROCESS AND QUALITY CONTROLS A long-lasting tradition combined with consolidated auger filling technology is the main characteristic of the MACRO PWD series which guarantees maximum precision and product safety even with long campaign production cycles. With the auger system, the product is supplied directly into the hopper via a feeder. A motor drives the stirrer that distributes the product homogeneously in the dosing hopper. The servo driven auger feeds the product from the hopper into the container. The presence of a filtered port prevents any over pressure of the powder inside the hopper. All product contact parts can be easily removed for cleaning. Filling nozzle is designed according to product flow characteristics. Automatic adjustment of the 4 dosing groups. Bottle lifting device for a clean and easy filling operation. Dosing Accuracy up to ± 1%. 100% CHECK-WEIGHING SYSTEM (IPC) MACRO PWD advanced 100% IPC is designed to automatically perform, during the entire production cycle, a net and gross checkweighing. To this aim, dedicated loading cells are located before and after the powder dosing units, measuring respectively the tare and gross weight of the bottle. All relevant data is stored by the control system.
