2 RETENDER NOTICE FOR SALE OF CONDEMNED VEHICLE Sealed tenders are invited for sale of following condemned vehicle as is where is basis: Sl.No. Registration No. 1. The tenders should be submitted in sealed covers. 2. Applicant must submit their bids in two separate envelopes. One envelope should contain technical bid and second envelope should contain financial bid. It must be noted that at first stage only the technical bids will be opened. And after the evaluation of technical bids, the financial bids will be opened only for the eligible bidders. The tenders of ineligible bidders shall be summarily rejected in the evaluation process and their financial bids will remain unopened. 3. Two separate sealed envelope marked Technical Bid and Financial Bid with Tender for sale of condemned vehicle clearly written on top of envelope, addressed to The Secretary, Tata Steel Zoological Society, at Tata Steel Zoological Park, Jubilee Park, Jamshedpur must reach the office on or before PM. 4. Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) Rs. 5,000/- (Rupees five thousand only) for each vehicle shall be deposited in form of Demand Draft/Banker s Cheque drawn in favour of Tata Steel Zoological Society payable at Jamshedpur. 5. EMD of unsuccessful bidders will be returned after finalization of the award to successful bidders. 6. EMD of the bidder who fails to honour the bid in prescribed time limit, shall stand forfeited. Any representation in this regard shall not be entertained by Tata Steel Zoological Society. 7. EMD will not be adjusted in the sale amount accepted by Tata Steel Zoological Society.

3 8. EMD of successful bidders shall be released only after successful completion of the sale process. 9. EMD of the Firm/Individual rescinding their offer/withdrawing or abrogating after submitting the bids, shall stand forfeited. Decision of the Secretary, Tata Steel Zoological Society shall be final in this regard. 10. EMD of unsuccessful bidders shall be returned within one month (30 days) of the award of contract to successful party. 11. Once the release order issued, Tata Steel Zoological Society or the Zoological Park will not be responsible either for safe custody or for any loss or damage to the subject vehicle. NO TENDERS SHALL BE RECEIVED AFTER PM. ANY TENDER RECEIVED LATER THAN THE TIME AND DATE OF RECEIPT OF THE BIDS SHALL BE REJECTED. 12. (a) Envelope-1 (Technical Bid) This envelope of technical bid must contain the following: I. Duly filled and signed annexure A II. Self attested copy of documentary evidence for proof of residential address. III. Self attested copy of the PAN/voter Id/Driving License in the name of the applicant. iv. EMD TECHNICAL BIDS SHALL BE OPENED AT 3.30 PM ON NEXT WORKING DAY i.e (b) Envelope-2 (Financial Bid) This envelope of technical bid must contain duly filled and signed copy of Annexure B The financial bids (Annexure B ) of those bidders whose Technical bids have been accepted will be opened on The vehicle/ vehicles is offered for disposal on AS IS WHERE IS & WHAT IS BASIS. 14. The bidder may inspect the said vehicles ON and between 10.00AM to 4.00PM. at TATA STEEL ZOOLOGICAL PARK, JUBILEE PARK, JAMSHEDPUR No Complaint whatsoever will be entertained after the tender submitted before or after the vehicle is lifted. No request for inspection after submission of tender will be accepted. 14A. The scheduled day for opening the sealed tenders, if declared to be holiday due to any reason unforeseen arise, the same will be opened the next immediate working day at 3.30 PM.

4 15. Only the highest bid amount in and above the minimum reserve price will be accepted. 16. If highest bidder does not accept the offer of sale of vehicle for any reason whatsoever it may be, and withdraws from the bidding,second highest bid amount may be considered for sale, if accepted by the The Secretary, Tata Steel Zoological Society and accordingly the second highest bid amount will be considered as the highest bid amount, subject to minimum reserve price conditions. If such second highest bidder also does not prefer the sale offer and withdraws from the bidding, after having decided as the highest bidder, the proceeding initiated in this notice will be considered as final and unsuccessful. 17. The highest bid once accepted is not transferable to anyone. In case the bidder is a company, the name of the company should be indicated as the bidder. In such cases the person appearing for the company should have the authorization letter in a proper format issued from a competent authority of the company. Request to change the name of the bidder in the tender after submission of the tender will not be entertained. 18. Once the release order issued, this office will not be responsible either for safe custody or for any loss or damage to the subject vehicle. 19. The address given in the tender shall be deemed to be bidders address and correspondence sent on that address shall be considered to have been delivered to the bidder. 20. The person authorized by bidder will be allowed to take the delivery. The bidders are required to produce documentary evidence for proof of their address. 21. In the event of acceptance of tender, the successful bidder will be required to deposit full amount in shape of DD in favour of Tata Steel Zoological Society payable at Jamshedpur within 7days from the issue of order, failing which the sale order shall be cancelled. 22. The vehicle / vehicles will be delivered only after the receipt of full payment and has to be lifted within 03 days of completion of deal failing which ground rent at the rate of Rs.500/-per day will be charged. 23. The bidders should quote the amount for purchase of the subject vehicle both in words and in figures, if there is any difference between the amounts given in figures and that of in words, the rate quoted in words alone will be taken in to account and accepted on record. The minimum reserve price as fixed by the Society will be the benchmark for the sale of the vehicle. 24. The successful bidder will also be responsible for getting the Registration Certificate of the vehicle transferred in his name at his own cost expeditiously. This office will not be responsible for any lapse on his part in this regard.

5 25. The Secretary, Tata Steel Zoological Society reserves the right to reject any or all the tenders without assigning any reasons. Zonal Manager also reserves the right to withdraw the said vehicle from the tender without assigning any reasons thereof. 26. Disputes if any, shall be subject to jurisdiction in the Court of Jamshedpur only.
