2 About Transcoma Group Transcoma was established in 1810 as a Ship s Agent in Barcelona under the name of Daniel Ripoll y Cia. In 1940 the company changed its name to Transportes y Consignaciones Maritimas, which was then shortened to Transcoma. Today, Transcoma Grupo Empresarial is still run with the high standards of quality and customer service that have made its name in the sector what it is today, and also retains its family-based shareholder structure. It is formed by over 35 different companies with over 300 professionals and has 21 offices in three countries.
