I) To protect from health hazards and to ensure safe working conditions. m) To deal with I.R. matters. n) To maintain punctuality and discipline in the Production Department. 3. ENGINEERING MAINTENANCE 1. Over all incharge for the department. 2. Allocation of resources. 3. Supervision of all activities of the department. 4. Arrangement of machinery1 spare parts as per the need.

To authorize procedures and schedules for monitoring and inprocess testing of production process and packaging processes. To authorize procedures for line clearances in production / packaging operations prior to product change over. To conduct process control defect analysis with production and take corrective actions to prevent recurrence in future. To conduct periodic cgmp audit (self audit) and initiate corrective actions. To have market complaints investigated and take necessary precautions. Responsible to approve changes according to change control system. Responsible to approve deviations. Authorized to initiate recall of faulty product from the market. To approve the SOP's, formats, systems etc. To release the batch after reviewing the documents. To ensure that all the RM's / finished product specifications are up dated as per pharmacopoeia / addendum etc. To organize validation of existing and new products, process, equipment and facilities. To ensure adequate training to employees at all levels within the organization to achieve quality standards. To comply with the requirements of all International / National regulatory requirements or any other statutory rules. To approve or reject as he sees fit, starting materials, packaging materials, intermediates and finished products. Develop and implement quality control procedures. To approve specifications, sampling instructions, test methods and other Quality control procedures. To check the maintenance of the Quality Control Department, premises and equipment. To ensure that appropriate validations are done. To ensure that the required initial and continuing training of department personnel is carried out and adapted according to need. Lead the team of Quality Control Executives, Officers and Chemists. Ensure preparation of QC SOP's and protocols. Ensure conduct / testing / approving raw materials / intermediates / finished products / packaging materials. To maintain laboratory documents and instruments of QC as per cglp. To organize stability study program and confirm the assigned shelf life of products. Organizing the testing of Raw Materials, Packaging Materials and Finished Products as per laid down specification. Organizing the process validation activities. Supervise updating of specifications as and when required. Review and approve analytical results.

IV. HEAD OF PRODUCTION, PLANNING & CONTROL( PPC) Supervising all the activities of the Department. In House: 1. Processing of Follow Up Notes(FUN) based on the MPS raised by marketing departments and forwarding to materials management department for procurement. 2 Production Planning /Scheduling / delivery of in-house & Loan licence 3. Physical control over production, by interactive process, thereby augmenting the resources of production sections, towards full utilisation of resources. 4. Monitoring the execution of Production plans through interacting with QAD, Stores, Purchase and various sections of Production. 5. Ensuring timely availability of Pharma, Export & Agrovet Products, by interacting with concerned departments. 6. Generation, Approval and Printing of barcode labels as per the requirements of the Export and Domestic customers (SOP No. QA/GEN/W1/035). Loan License Inward: 1. Loan Licence inwards - optimum utilisation of capacity. - New Business Development Department [NBD] will select the potential company/s and enter into agreement. 2. PPC will arrange utilization of spare capacity based on the agreement entered by NBD as and when required. Loan License Outward: Manufacturing of products under loan licence whenever there is in-house capacity constraint.
