2 For Existing Poynt merchants who were originally boarded on CreditCall Nashville TCR014 / DL Host integration, the merchants will need brand new account boarding through Poynt s Reseller Portal with their new Rapid Connect Setup Sheet information. The required fields of information for Rapid Connect are: - First Data Rapid Connect Merchant Number This is an alphanumeric field and can be up to 16 maximum characters. This is entered on the third tab of Poynt onboarding screen. o The length for the Merchant account differs with the Frontend platform: Nashville normally 7 digits BuyPass normally 4 digits Cardnet normally 12 digits - First Data Terminal ID (The alphanumeric Rapid Connect Terminal ID. The maximum length is 8 and entered on the third tab of Poynt onboarding screen) - First Data Group ID (The 5-13 character alphanumeric Rapid Connect Group ID for the Merchant and entered on the second tab of Poynt onboarding screen. See the reference matrix.) - Amex Charge Description (The Amex Charge description is only required when the merchant is setup to process Amex transactions via North back-end. This is supplied by First Data for a Merchant and should only allow upper-case letters, numbers and space characters of up to 23 in length. This is usually the exact same as the DBA Name in ALL CAPS and is entered on the first tab of Poynt onboarding.) - Settlement Mode Select Terminal if your back-end is North PTS. Select Host if your back-end is Omaha or South. - North PTS Merchant Number (If your merchant is settling on North PTS back-end, this field is required and is entered on the first tab of Poynt onboarding. This is the North MID.) - MCC (Merchant Category Code)
