1 Water Technologies & Solutions capability profile PROflex* What is PROflex? PROflex is SUEZ s newest, most flexible RO system. The PROflex is based on years of customer feedback, incorporating improvements to design, serviceability, ease of installation, and manufacturability. It is our most price competitive RO system yet, and it has many commonly requested options pre-priced in a convenient online configurator. where do I find the PROflex online product configurator? It is found online at under Resources, then RO Configurator. what makes PROflex so flexible? PROflex is made up of ten different primary configurations, centered around more flow points than the PRO RO we previously built. Each of those ten configurations can be further modified to change pump size, piping size, and membrane elements. This allows you to design an RO system that closely meets your desired output flow and water quality. is the price of the PROflex lower than the PRO series RO systems? The price per gallon of water treated by PROflex is as much as 30% lower than the price per gallon treated by PRO. Depending on the specific flow rate, the savings range from 10% to 30%. The biggest savings come when the flow rate needed for your application is in-between the rated flows of the PRO Series. The added flexibility of PROflex allows you to match an RO with the most appropriate number of elements and array to the exact flow rate you need. give me an example of how PROflex can have a lower price. 23% Lower $/ gpm Example1: 220 gpm PROflex 54 PRO Series PRO-300 Price $149,570 $194,060 Price per gpm $680/gpm $882/gpm Flux 15 gfd 12 gfd Footprint 96 ft ft 2 how is this product different from the PRO Series reverse osmosis? PROflex is more flexible allowing the user the ability to choose the flow and flux rate needed for their specific application, instead of choosing pre-designed flow rates. Selection of all the additional options is done with the help of our on-line Product Configurator to make the process easy. New available options include: More Membrane Element choices Higher or lower pressure pumps Control system options New instrumentation packages Piping materials (PVC, SS) And more! 2 when can the first PROflex be shipped? PROflex is available now. We have a PROflex in inventory today. footprint PROflex has a smaller footprint than the PRO RO. what is the PROflex lead time? This product has our standard PRO lead-time of 8-12 weeks, depending on the options chosen on the configurator. where do I find pricing for PROflex? Pricing is available online to allow for quick access to information. The flexibility of PROflex has resulted in many more options than were previously offered, and the online Product Configurator is the easiest method of communicating these new prices. why was the PROflex name chosen? PROflex is very flexible compared to the previous generation of PRO. The PROflex allows the user to design the specific RO unit that they want down to the banking, pump size, amount and size of elements, piping, instruments, and controls. Pictured above: Old PRO-300 (L) vs New PROflex (R) pump forward on RO skid The high-pressure pump on PROflex has been moved to the front of the RO skid for ease of accessibility. what is different about the PROflex? PROflex has several design improvements over the PRO RO. The footprint of the PROflex is smaller than that of PRO, particularly for larger flow rates. The pump and instruments are moved towards the front of the RO skid, making them easier to access and to service. These improvements are on all PROflex, regardless of the various options packages chosen during configuration. Pictured above: Old PRO-300 (L) vs New PROflex (R) Page 2

3 what is the rated flow that each PROflex model can produce? We have selected a starting point for each of the ten arrays that are listed in the configurator. These flow rates are chosen at 60F, 80% recovery and with AG8040F-400 elements. Flow rates can be further customized or selected by using the table below, found online or in the PROflex brochure in larger format. PROflex Sizing Table what membrane elements are included in the PROflex product line? There are many choices available for this line, including elements with higher or lower surface area, both in RO and NF. Our default if you do not make a special selection is the AG8040F-400 element. can the pump types be changed? New to the PROflex are many more Tonkaflo pump choices at least 6 models to choose from per array on the configurator. Please let us help guide you in your selection with either a live discussion with one of our sales engineers, or by using our online Product Configurator. We have also pre-selected pump sizes around default flow ratings that may already meet your needs. Page 3

4 what is the best way to choose a pump for my PROflex? Use the online tool in the Product Configurator to choose your pump. It is intended to be used as a guide. For an added check, we recommend using Winflows to determine flows and pressures needed. can different piping be selected? We will choose the pipe size based on the pump size chosen, and it will be listed in the specification sheet that you can download. If you require something different, or have questions, please reach out to us for help. what other new options are available for PROflex? Many new options are available including materials of construction, PLCs, instruments, membrane elements, pumps, instruments, and piping. Please visit our website, Resources, Product Configurator for complete details. does PROflex have any operational differences from the PRO Series? No. The PROflex uses the same premium control package as the PRO. what are the control options for PROflex and do they differ from the current PRO series? The PROflex comes with the same premium electrical package as the PRO. why does the PROflex have such a large white panel on the front? This panel allows the user plenty of room to mount motor starters, disconnects, VFDs, and even chorine motors. Pictured above: PROflex mounting panel what are the items mounted on the front white panel? Standard models of PROflex come with the electrical panel, inlet flow and conductivity by-pass flow motoring, and solenoid valves mounted on the panel. can piping be upgraded on the PROflex? Yes. There is an option to upgrade the low pressure piping PVC as a default to stainless steel. how is the PROflex lifted and moved into position onsite? The PROflex can be moved with a forklift on the prefilter side of the skid and weight rated dollies on the other side. As with all our products, we recommend using professional off loaders when moving this highquality equipment. Page 4
