11 Dangerous Goods Guidelines Introduction Dangerous Goods are substances capable of causing harm to people and property because of their hazardous properties. For example, they may be corrosive, flammable or have other hazardous properties. Suppliers, in conjunction with Myer have a responsibility to ensure that for every chemical within the Myer product range, a current Australia compliant safety data sheet (SDS) provided and that goods classified as hazardous / dangerous are identified when being transported. The Australian Dangerous Goods Code (ADGC or ADG7) is issued by The Advisory Committee on Transport of Dangerous Goods. The document creates a significant level of standardisation for the transportation of dangerous goods in Australia. Packages with hazardous contents will need to display the below stickers. As per the user defined attribute within Retek (UDA), all other products listed as flammable liquid fall into Class 3, packaging 3 which permits up to 2 litres to be dispatched per consignment. The below sticker is acceptable for this circumstance.
