We are pleased to introduce our inland rail service from Busan to the main cities of Russia (Moscow, Ekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Krasnoyarsk, Irkutsk, Chita and Khabarovsk) via Vladivostok. The demand for rail transport is growing rapid as it offers a faster solution than sea shipping and cheaper alternative to air freight. 5 Implementation of New Customs Act Program (NCAP) Effective 20 th April 2018, the first phase of the NCAP was introduced. Reporting of Conveyance and Goods (RCG) was implemented in order to improve cargo and supply chain management compliance. South African Revenue Services (SARS) now requires mandatory electronic submissions at RCG level prior to vessel departure. Whilst the submission of manifests has been a requirement since 2009, no risk or liability to non-compliance has been imposed, nor was it required to be submitted in advance. In view of this new legislative requirement, there will be an Advance Loading House (ALH) EDI Fee per House Bill of Lading in replacement of the EDI fee that is currently being billed with effect from 1 st August 2018.
