Shaded areas on artwork indicate the positions of the reinforcement bands or rubber eyelet s (depending on sheeting selected). Due to the manufacturing process of logo printed sheeting, orders may be affected by a fluctuation up to +/- 10% of the quantity ordered. The logos and colours shown on this sheet have been computer generated and are intended to provide a visual representation rather than an exact replica of the scaffold sheeting layout. This design and specification is the property of Icopal Ltd. The LPS information tape will be included on flame retardant sheeting only were applicable. Note: Red, orange and yellow colours in particular have a limited UV stability and could prematurely fade within 8-12 weeks in summer and 5-6 months in winter depending on site conditions. However all pigments perform differently under solar radiation exposure and may fade at different rates. It should be noted that under certain circumstances and accompanied by cold temperatures and heavy rain, the lacquer may also become brittle and crack leading to the colour disappearing or fading prematurely on Screenprint products. Costs associated to print failure (fading or colour loss) After 3 months in summer or 6 months in winter = Zero 50% colour pigment fading before these times elapse = 25 per roll It should also be noted that, even if the colours have faded, the sheeting would still be performing in its primary purpose as a temporary protection material so no other claims for consequential or indirect losses will be accepted e.g. replacement sheeting, scaffolders costs, and disposal. The 25 per roll payment will be offered as a Gesture of Goodwill solely on the basis of not having the benefit of the full colour logo for the anticipated duration of the project, subject to weather and site conditions. All complaints are subject to a site visit and samples being available and any payments will be at the sole discretion of Icopal Ltd and are in no way guaranteed.

7 4 Monarflex Printed Sheeting Guidance We will not supply the same logo printed sheeting to more than 1 distributor at a time. However if we are requested to quote by another distributor because the end user is looking to change supplier, then we will quote having informed the existing supplier and insist the end user confirms all existing rolls will be taken from their current supplier as per their agreement. We will also require a confirmatory that their desire is to purchase elsewhere. Digiwrap This is a bespoke product and is not held in stock by our distributors, except on very rare occasions. Most distributors have terms already set up for this range of products and can quote their customers directly without the need to contact us first. This may lead to several distributors quoting for the same logo sheeting and the end user will determine who to purchase from. Pricing Policy Standard terms exist for all trading accounts with structured discounts in place relating to volumes, values, stock held and reciprocal support of Monarflex branded products. The Competition Act 1988 Anti-competitive agreements, Chapter I of the CA98 and Article 101 prohibit agreements between businesses that prevent, restrict or distort competition or are intended to do so and which affect trade in the UK and/or EU. Agreements likely to be prohibited include those which: fix the prices to be charged for goods or services limit production carve up markets discriminate, e.g. between customers (e.g. charge different prices or impose different terms where there is no difference in what is being supplied). Decisions of associations of businesses are also covered, as are concerted practices (i.e. cooperation which falls short of an agreement or decision). If in doubt please call Icopal to discuss

8 4 The Supply of Digital Artwork What we need from the customer When we receive an artwork request the customer needs to provide the following: Logo AI, EPS or very high quality JPG logos needs to be supplied for the final print job although other formats are acceptable to generate an initial proof. Print Type We offer two methods of printing, Digiwrap or Screen Print. Digiwrap is for smaller quantities with a quicker turnaround while Screen Print is for larger orders with a longer lead time. Logo Pantone References Proofs can be created without colour references. However the customer will need to provide this when they place an order to ensure the final print job is accurate. 9 The Supply of Digital Artwork 4 Supply of Artwork You can supply artwork to us in the following ways: No more than 10MB per mail If the files exceed this size you could use: WeTransfer - a free online service which allows you to large files (up to 2GB) - Upload to our FTP site via our website - Downloaded from customer FTP site (If using FTP please clearly label all artwork to match paperwork) Alternatively you could supply the artwork on: Memory Stick CD DVD Please use PDF/X-4 default for creating PDFs. These are our guidelines before you export to PDF: Resolution This preset profile assumes that the artwork is 100%. If you are working at a smaller scale eg 25% please adjust the resolution settings within the profile to accomodate this, otherwise, any scan resolutions or transparency effects may be too small, once the artwork is scaled up to 100%. Machines have variable resolutions, super wide formats need be no more than 100dpi. Colour We output using CMYK machines using the 'ISO Coated v2 (ECI)' output profile. Any RGB or spot colours will be converted honouring 'Input Profiles' where possible. If there are Pantone colours or hard copy you wish us to match please make this clear. Logo information If there are brand guidelines relating to your logo please supply these. If you want your logo to be of a certain height and width or if there needs to be a certain size gap between each logo then please advise us of this. Open Artwork specification Adobe Illustrator CC (or earlier), Adobe Photoshop CC (or earlier), Adobe InDesign CC (or earlier), Quark Xpress v9 (or earlier) Full font sets should be supplied, compatible with Apple Macintosh or fonts should be outlined, please avoid embedding scans. Please note: Failure to adhere to these guidelines could delay or possibly prevent production and incur additional cost. It is the responsibility of the customer to check copyrights of artwork. Proof check our Approval PDF to sign off it s content, giving written approval to proceed. Please request a wet proof if required and ensure finishing instructions are clearly supplied in writing.
