3 KMSC History Mr Kwaku Asiedu Nketiah Jr, son of Ghana s famous politician Asiedu Nketia Sr, registered his own company Kayab Maritime Services Company (KMSC) with the aim of providing marine logistics, and transport links throughout Ghana and the West African Sub region, with access to the industrial centers of Continental Africa. Asiedu Nketiah Sr, a former Minister of Ghana, was actively involved in community issues and decisions concerning trade. KMSC S vision to combine overland and sea marine services, linking the Ghana industrial regions with West African countries, became the focus of his energy logistics philosophy. Consequently, a diverse business developed to include chartering, freight forwarding, warehousing, custom clearance, and stevedoring. 3
