22 FDA Food Safety Modernization Act Pilots are underway by the Institute of Food Technologists FDA is scheduled to release regulations in January 2013 Mike Taylor has stated that PTI is a model program Sherri McGarry will be on a panel at the PMA Fresh Summit to discuss the IFT/FDA FSMA Tomato pilot findings and recommendations. The industry is quietly confident the new regulations will be supportive of the Produce Traceability Initiative
